All Nighter Am Go!

Post by eRabbit »

Got nothing to do tomorrow, so fuck it, I'm gonna try and stay awake long enough to go to the JV1V fight. Wish me luck :P I'm off to make some coffee.

Again? That was quick!

I think the node is more likely to die than the Titan narf.

Is 4am good for LV, or is that bad stront management?

1:40am, going to bed

I just can't pull an all nighter when I'm not out of the house, sitting by a bed trying to do an all nighter doesn't work well. Night!

Eve-o reads thusly:

Yay, incomming fight!
*node crash
oh god, 600 in local
*node crash
Sweet jesus 1000 in local
*node crash
*node loading
*node crash
*CCP guys arrive after emergency 3am drives to work
*node loading
*node crash

etc etc etc. I doubt much has been achieved. I've gotten as far as Tyrax saying IAC is still on it's way. That was with aprox 1200 pilots trying to log/jump into jv1v.

Makes me glad I've been up all night playing the supreme commander demo now. I must say, It's truely fucking awesome :boogie:

ISS forum reads basically that the POS was destroyed but is being petitioned due to the node crashes, as well as Goons apparantly stating in local (smak in local = signed confession afaik) that they crashed the node on purpose to gain advantage.

My guess is that;

a. Petitions will not be upheld but,
b. LV will be able to justify the loss to themselves as lag / node crash related so reducing effect on morale

Reports are that they still have the Titan BPO at least (at one piont it was rumoured that goons had taken that aswell)

shame about the titan, good job that they (at least appear to) have held on to the BPO, that thing must be worth a fortune!

What will happen if they succeed with the petition though, will the POS just reappear with the Titan in it?

Sounds like LV/BOB/etc didn't deserve to lose the titan pos, it was camped to the point that even a 1000 man BS fleet shouldn't have got past with 3 titans in system.

However I also agree that the enemy should have the opportunity to kill the POS.

As a GM I think I would rule in LVs favour because they lost something, where as "the coalition" didn't.

Sucks either way narf.

Eve-o has for the first time ever, made me want to wretch. the cursed redswarm rederation now renamed the coalition is being prased as the horses of good, and that the end of LV and BoB would hail a glorius new future for eve.

So what? A bunch of complex farming isk sellers controlling over 1/2 of the 10/10s in-game would be good for eve? :x

There are exceptions, but it is clear "The coalition" are much younger, less mature and less intelligent than our side.

I don't think the phrase "pond-life" could ever be applied to so many people in one thread.

I tried to post a "neutral" perspective on eve-o in the vein hope that someone with some say in the petitions would consider my points. If nothing else it seemed to have been followed by a lot of intelligent posts on the side of LV, Where as before it was mostly the sickle-cells posting.

What really gets my goat, is that it's curse alliance who are doing the loudest shouting. Of the entire group, including goons, they're quite possibly the most useless (baring one corp who's been us good fights in empire all weeks), self serving, arogant, stuck up smackers I've ever had the misfortune to kill. All their braging only makes me smile more as I'm doing a tally count of the BS.I <> CA war, and it's looking like total damages including stuff we looted and sold (Some of it back to them :) ), was nearly 9 billion (Our killboard only registers just under 5, but it's not counting destroyed items or loot). For a 24 man corp, it's not bad.
