narf I feel sorry for the servers.

I would love to rejoin ISS, or indeed an alley, to fight this - but I fear I'd end up doing no work and with no boss to fire me I'd end up bankrupt before I stopped playing.

Must.

Resist.

Sorry for the delay

The conspiracy people will ask why we choose the target that we do, and the only answer you will get is this; it presents the biggest challenge at this point in time. For all of you who have been expecting us to go all out on you, you were wrong, you were the recreation. Since you presented no challenge, it will stay at just that; recreation... for now.

The Pendulum wars moves into its second phase, and it keeps on ticking. Will you live to see the third phase?

It's time. You're it. Chow, we're stealing your targets.
Tick tock.

:? sorry, clearly too stupid / not up on events.

what does that all mean, or is it deliberately obscure so no-one knows who they're going for...

Chow is the nickname of Chowdown, leader of Lotka Voltera. Stealing their targets means BoB intend to come shoot RA, Goons, Tau Ceti Federation, Curse Coalition, Against All Authorities, Interstellar Alchol Conglemerate and a range of smaller corps.

BoB just effective came to your rescue, if they don't shoot you.

ahh, didn't know :above: that

iirc I made 1/2 a prediction about what would happen when non-involved major alliances suddenly began to feel that the side with the upper hand ni this war (undoubtably RA/IAC/SOD/AAA/Goons) could be a threat to them. Of course they haven't couched it in those terms. Always easier to belittle the guy who's losing, that way you don't look like you're on their side.

I suppose we will get shot if we get in the way at all.

Best go ratting and make iskies then eh?

It's official - Band of Brothers have now joined the war against the horde. They're moving into the theater as we speak.

We have set them to blue (or we will asap) and they have returned the favor.

I believe this will remove the strategic focus even more away from us, and towards the bigger prizes of the war: control of Detorid and the LV homesystems.

Our Syndicate is a small player in this war, as was seen by the relative size of the fleets moving about yesterday. It is still early days in the war, morale is high on both sides, and numbers will dwindle as interest wanes. As expected the attacker, who had the luxury of chosing the when and where of the first engagement, sortied huge fleets. Without precise knowledge of where he was going to hit, the first blow was a foregone conclusion.

With BoB, and their multiple Titan fleets, the tide has already turned in our favor. The pvp capability of the LV and BoB fleets combined is unrivalled in the game at this time.
Whatever BoB are saying on the forums, it would appear that they have chosen sides, rather than steal targets. That's more like it :ahoy:

Ah finally, they announced it...wasn't expecting that till tomorrow. Maybe they've brought it forward cos of what happened to LV last night. I've been champing at the bit to tell you guys all week :boogie: And when MC finish their little diversion up North with D2 and IRON, they'll probably be seen in the area with the 5th or is it 6th titan.

Let's see RA pull a logoggski on that mother :likesitall:

Edit: Hulk, you may want to revise your standings

:x :x

So, ISS is resetting BoB to friendly then? and I assume vice versa?

Think you can get standings sorted for me? Or is my presence now going to be a little bit extra overkill? Can't see a muninn adding much to the entire bob fleet

For the record, I consider it cruel that you let us worry all week about the survival of ISS :(

Are we going to be allowed to hunt as well or do BoB want us to stay out of the way and so not get shot at?

Excellent, glad to hear it :)

I'm also glad to know I now have all my T2 PvP fittings (well, I could do with a couple more but I have a tollerably mean setup) so I can hopefully cause some serious damage :)

I'm sure BoB will be concentrating on RAGoon. Our little sideshow in C3 and KW will be just that: a sideshow. I think we're gonna need all the help we can get. narf I reckon the very best think BSI can do is harrass IAC all over Catch. Kill their miners in their home systems, pirate their haulers. Do black ops and don't get decisively engaged alongside ISS unless you have to (you have a reputation to keep after all :P )

You can always dock in Tycho and get stuff there until they work out what is going on and set you to red, and thereafter you have C3 and KW.

And you'll have to talk to BoB about standings yourself, sry
