Supay mentioned somewhere on ISS forum having a whole POS chain for sale... in C3 (I think). I never mentioned it because I know how much fun a few 5punkers had with Complex reaction chains before, but thinking about it now, I hope it doesn't mean he's planning to takedown a bunch of Sov-poss in C3.

fighty fighty :D

RISE are going to fight with us on this too. And they've got some very sensible people and lots of experience killing cap ships. They also just nailed 150 Goons for no losses, so they're on a high. Here's some tips from them:
All Carriers to have sentry drones - they can attack POS towers

Noone to log in station ever!

Make some antidread phoons and domis with a mix of nos/neuts. Anyone who can fly one should have one.

Everyone to have a damcon fitted, regardless of tank type.

Where are we supposed to log then? Logging in space gets you probed down and killed...

No, logging with an agro timer gets you probed and killed. If you've got one, don't log, simple as. Bounce around safe spots till you don't. I can say hand on heart BS.I tested this yesterday, with an abaddon. You warp off and vanish. Even tried probing, nada.

on a related note, I tested the theory that if you log with an aggro timer and log an alt on, your other ship is still in aggro timer limbo. The guy helping me warp scrammed my ship, so on my return I didn't warp back to the point I left from.

So to counter the logoffski maneuver, we can gate camp with sensor boosters so we can insta lock and aggro. Then they can't get logged off fast enough to avoid da PROBE!

:)

Probing is fun.....

It was logging off at a POS that got people probed down and killed - a covops sat by the POS and scanned. If anything was at exactly 1,000,000km (the emergency warp distance) he'd know they'd logged and scan them down. It appears that this 'bug' may have been fixed from what Hulk says. Either way, the easy way around it was to warp to a safe first then log (worked for me all through the time people were getting scanned down and ganked).

So simple answer to be safe - have a safespot, deep as possible and preferably out of scan range of any warpables, warp to it before logging and you'll be fine.

Right chaps, godwilling tonight will be fairly busy. The assault on Tenerifis & Omist is expected either late tonight or early tomorrow, so we have today to finalise arrangements. I've never asked this before, but if you can log on this afternoon, please do so. We'll need haulers, cyno's, combat ships and empire alts at the ready. Here's a list of things that we must achieve tonight:

Critical Tasks for the Corp:

Jump a Large POS with guns, fuel and stront from Consido to Serenity and put it up - Dres, Fea, Rydis

Buy more Nitrogen Isotopes (300k) and some Hydrogen Isotopes (100k) in empire and move to Hoth - Red or Mano

Refuel all towers for min one week and check stront levels

Remove POS 4 - not critical but would be nice to get rid of the damn thing

Things you should do for yourself:

Check you own ship and ammo stocks. Buy some more or badger Pass to build some if needed. Everyone should have some PvP ships in Calico and a few spares in Serenity.

If you can fly a typhoon or dominix, get one and fit it with nos/neut and park it in Calico.

Pass - I might be able to get an isk bung from ISSHI to buy minerals and make frigs, cruisers, modules and ammo at our POS. Production slots in Calico have been locked out for ISSHI to build bs's for 48 hours and they'll need fittings. 5punkfleet comes first ofc, but those arrays should never be idle!

Finally, please don't wait for me to log on tonight to get started. If you're around, badger some cap ship pilots to help you. There's fuel in hoth that needs moving down and plenty to be getting on with. If you can poke an officer in ISSN to get you some POS parts from Consido then so much the better. We'll need:

Large Amarr CT
Hangar Array
8 Med Arty Guns
2 Med AC Guns
20,000 EMP L
2 of each hardener
Warp Scram Bty
Web Bty
9600 Stront

I'll be back as soon as I can this afternoon.

I'm currently talking to Gaul Cascade about getting POS parts from the navy, so far it's not looking good, to the point that he's checking Fabrica supplies. We're also trying to sort out the logistics of getting the stuff to Serenity, as our calculation place it at around 60,000 m3 not including fuel or stront.

EDIT:

Large Amarr CT - SMALL AMARR CT IN KW-0AM, LARGE TOWER IN QR-K85
Hangar Array - 1 CORPORATE HANGAR ARRAY IN KW-0AM
8 Med Arty Guns - NONE
2 Med AC Guns - 2 IN QR-K85
20,000 EMP L - IN C3-0YD
2 of each hardener - NONE
Warp Scram Bty - NONE
Web Bty - IN QR-K85
9600 Stront - IN QR-K85

Navy supplies.

He's looking in the wrong bloody station is why. I've got it all sorted and ready in IS-R. That said, most of the fuel is in Fabrica.

Ok, after a small error in communication he's working on getting it contracted now, then once we have a cyno chain and cap ship pilot ready we can get it jumped down. We're also about to start work on the empire moving of Nitrogen Isotopes etc.

Good stuff. Some further intel: first main attack expected 0100 Eve Time (2000 EST) on Friday. Most likely to be combined IAC/TCF assault. Expect to see large gangs of Euro TZ from both around this evening leading up to the main assault. KW- is in dread range of TCF safe pos's. We don't know which they're going to attack first.

Make sure anything valuable is out of Serenity and at the POS. We can easily jump stuff from our POS to empire, but not if it's bubbled in station.

Rabbit: good work, keep it up! :)

Another update (lol) we've only got 1 EM hardener and the ammo we'll need to get from C3-, the stuff we have in Consido is in my hangar there at the moment and if I go offline I'll contract it to the corp. Should we get another EM hardener in empire while getting the empire stuffs?

No. Hardeners a pain to move anyway and Rydis has some spares tucked away somewhere. Get the hangar and 8 med arty's up and ammo'd first and fill up with stront. Rest can come later.

I'm having trouble organising jump hauling at the moment, pass and I have alts in empire fetching the stuff for moving to hoth as we speak, and there's rather a lot of hostiles around.
