Update:
The price of Phenolics has dropped even further so we're switching production to Fernite Carbides. Count bought the last load of phenolics at a good price and will continue to buy our FC's at Jita-10% so we should be back on track again shortly. Hulk is ending the contract for Caesarium Cadmide as I write this.
I have bought up 3 weeks worth of Scandium in Marginis (it was going cheap) and have arranged a contract to buy the required amount weekly, delievery to Tycho. Hope to finalise this contract tonight.
I have switched the towers in W9 to the new simple reactions already and while they work up a head of steam, we can let the tower in ZX run down. I'll make the switch on that one probably on Wednesday afternoon.
There is 16,800 units each of Sil Dib and Van Haf in the 'Ammo' part of POS3 hangar. This is a week's worth of reactants in reserve should be wish to revert to phenolics sometime in the future. The remaining excess will be sold off (approx 50mill worth).
The small tower in W9 is now superfluous to requirments but will stay there sucking Haf while I decide what to do with it. Options include A. Leaving it B. Moving it to N-8 for ice mining ops C. Moving to Tenerifis to harvest scandium or D. Dismantle it. I prefer option B personally, but will work out the details later.
Meanwhile, we've got about 4 or 5 days of fuel left in the towers and a good deal hauled to ZX - almost enough to fill up the towers and leave us a week in reserve. Thannks to those who helped out. I'm hoping we can get a freighter run next week to shift the remaining fuel down.
Plans are to bung the second large tower up within 10 days.

And another week goes by. Here's where we are - no complaints that noone told you now!
1. POS 5 is up. Guns are a bit wonky. Fea says that's ok
2. Hehulk lead a freighter escort run...in his pod. We've got fuel for just over two weeks. (Hehulk uber mod edit: To be fair, I did lead half of it in my muninn. Damn concord counting using webbers as aggresion
To be fair though, way I'm making isk atm I'll have a replacement muninn and a hulk by friday
)
3. We started mining veld for a carrier. Mano's Covetor got concordokken. We got two hauler spawns in W9. We stopped mining veld for a carrier.
4. Ki and now Silver are in charge of building and marketing 5punkships in Tycho. It's already turning a neat profit. Goal is to make enough to cover our office and ISS fees (80mill a month).
5. ISSN came back south for a holiday. Lots of PvP opportunities around Tycho. We've been having a blast. Made a nice break from anchoring guns.
Where next:
More fuel
Pay back loans
Buy skill books for Fea and Dres
Cap ship(s)

Weekly Sitrep #15ish
There's been complaints on the ISS forum that some corps have know knowledge of the changing political situation in Catch, which can lead to serious diplomatic incidents. Everyone should make an effort to browse the Catch forum and I'll copy critical info both here and into corp mail.
INTSUM: Huzzah Federation (HF) has collapsed. HF recently changed their leadership, which lead to a cooling in relations with ISS sparked by a bunch of stuff that had been overlooked by the former HF leadership (ratting and POS's in HF space mainly). This was all a bit of a concern for some until the new AAA Alliance formed. This new entity is a very powerful alliance of all the pirate corps in Catch and Providence, including our old friends Stain Empire, Rage and Terror and numerous others. AAA pwned HF hard, took both their outposts in southern Catch and blew up several of their POS's. HF has disbanded and most of the corps are moving out of the area. I'm not sure yet what's happening to NOS, the splinter alliance from HF. Biggest concern for us is where are AAA going next? For now, stay well away from Southern Catch and former HF space.
Industry: Ticking along nicely. Monthly fuel run being coordinated by me ad Hehulk at the moment with a lot of people turning out to haul yesterday, so thank you for that. It meant we got it done in good time although Bruce lost an Itty 5 to a griefing gate sniper in Hagilur (thankfully empty). We need to build a load more ammo for POS 4 & 5 (10k of each type), ship down about 3k more stront for reserves, and station some shield transfer ships in the outpost. This needs to be done as soon as possible.
Fw4ppers: Some really good recruiting going on and a healthy bunch of players in Fw4ppers at the moment. We need to make every effort to welcome them into the team, and make them feel part of the corp. Everytime you're in empire spare a few minutes to go play with them. It does wonders for the long term '5punky Way' as we call it.
Summary of Tasks
System Defence - Ki'esha and Hulk to coordinate please. To include checking ammo stocks and stront levels in the towers and building some shield transfer ships.
Industry - Fuel shipped to Tycho, towers refuelled, materials topped up or unloaded. Friz to lead, with Aki and Bruce as my seconds.
Recruit Training - We should schedule a training op with joint 5punk/Fw4pper turn out this week sometime. Dres to coordinate and nominate an assistant to help set it up. Let us know time and details.

Weekly Sitrep #16 - Sitting on a gate in 36N with 35 other frigs and 3 carriers in gang
Fw4ppers put up their POS; we recruited some more people; some wars finished; other wars started; bad guys put up a POS; ISS took it down again; CC had a tiff; Tyrell Corp are now our friends; we need more Pye in Tycho; made some money; blew up some ships; need beer.
Stuff to Build: 'thron for Aki and a 'pest for Kitty (bpc's in Tycho)
Next Up: Carrier. Will buy the first big nasty skill soon(tm)
Things You Should Know: Merc corp hired to pester ISSN apparently are big in infil and corp theft. Hence corp roles will be very tight for new players (anyone joined in the last month). If I ever catch a corp thief I will cut out his liver with a blunt spoon.

INTSUM: Catch continues to maintain an uneasy peace at the moment. Tyrell Corp maintain the upper hand in Curse and hold the Doril pipe against the subversive splinter corps from Curse Coalition. aAa have not made any decisive moves since taking the outposts in southern Catch from Huzzah Fed. HED-GP is predominantly camped by ASCN although the usual hostiles (RAT, Burn Eden etc) frequent the area. The situation in northern Catch/Providence is increasingly unstable. A loose coalition of pirate corps (CCK, Est, FHz, possibly RAT) have erected at least one POS in 9UY (Unity Station) and are executing robust offensive camps in the area, including the main routes in via Kari/YMP and Assah/G-5EN2. Trade to Consido is suffering accordingly. Friendly Alliance (incl ISS) counter action is pending - watch this space. Routes: Doril remains the most favourable route for our purposes. Overall Threat State: Medium. >36hrs Stront in critical towers.
Industry: Fernite Carbs have weakened slightly on the Jita market, tho not critically. However, our primary customer has cooled significantly and so we are looking for alternatives. Cashflow has suffered due to this and the poor logistics situation over the last few weeks hasn't helped any. Plans to rectify this are in the works (looking out for buy orders, contracts and extension in the ISSHI buy order).
Recruiting: Some good recruits coming in both in Fw4ppers and direct into 5punkorp. Latest recruit even came with a Providence freighter which is a bonus. It is very important to maintain the momentum with recruiting and training and help Dres as much as possible. Graduation for senior Fw4ppers is a priority.
Forecast: Overall plan remains unchanged: Obelisk for empire hauling and Chimera. We have a number of bs's to build for various corp members. This should be seen as a key aspect of our corp team ethic - maintaining the 5punky way! (See the ship building thread in the other forum for details).

Weekly Sitrep #18
There are a few people graduating from Fw4ppers today and so I've added more detail for their benefit. They should however read this whole thread to get an overview of the situation where we live and why we do what we do.
INTSUM: If you look at the Alliance Map you will see that most of Catch and Providence is unclaimed by any military power. We live just above where it says IAC. Of all the Alliances in the South East, only AAA and RA are hostile to ISS. There are nevertheless numerous pirate corps, some collapsed empires (FIX for example) and roaming gangs who pick on the unsuspecting hauler. Here is a list of the main protagonists in the area:
Curse Coalition (CC): Claim the Doril Pipe, our main travel route into Catch. Following a failed leadership bid, a group of corps split off and formed Blood of Innocents (BoI) who are contesting control of the pipe. Currently both CC and BoI are NAP'd (blue) to ISS. We have travel rights only in Curse region (no ratting, complex running, mining or industry).
Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate (IAC): Friendly to ISS, claim the JZV-06 and have a refinery outpost, The Distillery, in G-7WUF which is open to ISS. They fight CC and LV alot. Travel rights only.
Lotka Voltera (LV): Big alliance that claims Tenerifis, Omist and Detorid. Very friendly to ISS and have a contract to allow full access to northern Tenerifis on a pay-per-corp basis. ISS operated outpost is ISS Calico in C3-OYD. 5punkorp does not currently pay for access.
Ascendant Frontier (ASCN): Huge alliance that claims Feythabolis, Paragon Soul, Esoteria and Impass through their fighting wing, Axiom Empire. Very friendly to ISS. No travel rights.
Against All Authorities (AAA): Recently formed pirate alliance that successfully destroyed Huzzah Federation (HF) and currently hold the outposts in southern Catch. Stain region is a hotbed of fighting and internicine warfare with a long and sordid history too complex to go into here. AAA are hostile to ISS.
Novus Ordo Seclorum (NOS): Splinter group from the late HF who claim areas in the west of Providence. Friendly to ISS. Travel rights only.
Curitas Veritas Alliance (CVA): Amarr roleplaying alliance who claim northwest providence. Got all upset when ISS wanted to build an outpost there but are currently friendly. Outposts of note are ISS Consido in IS-R7P and ISS Fabrica next door.
Ushra' Khan (UNITY or U'K): Roleplaying alliance who claim northern providence including the G-5EN2 route from Derelik. Their refinery outpost, Unity in 9UY, is the subject of an ongoing campaign by a pirate coalition who have made a bid to take the station. ISS is heavily involved in its defence (we really don't want a pirate owned station nearby).
Hostile Pirate entities include: 0utbreak, The Establishment (Est), Coalition of Carebear Killers (CoCK), Rage and Terror (RAT), Without Reason (W--R), Firmus Ixion (FIX). Also be aware that Band of Brothers (BoB) will shoot on site.
Routes: Doril remains the most favourable route for our purposes. Overall Threat State: Medium. >36hrs Stront in critical towers.
Industry: Picked up a small contract for Fernite Carbs with Pillowsoft which, combined with the sales to ISSHI should cover our fuel costs with a little to spare. Market remains very slow however. Please be frugal with the corp wallet when it gets below 380mill - this is what we need to pay for fuel!
Recruiting: As a bunch of people graduate today it is important that we remember to keep the momentum up with recruiting and the training going for those in Fw4ppers. There is a very good corp ethic going in 5punkorp at the moment, thanks largely to Hehulk's efforts on the 5cheduler. We need to ensure this filters through to our training corp too.
Forecast: Overall plan remains unchanged: Obelisk for empire hauling and a Chimera. We have a number of bs's to build for various corp members and some work to do to get the Fernite sold. We should also look at alternate sources of revenue, such as developing the Tycho build plan some more.

Weekly Sitrep #19
INTSUM: The defence of 9UY was drawn to a successful conclusion after the intervention of the awesome Mercenary Coalition capital fleet. Although UNITY is back to normal business, this does inevitably free up the pirate coalition to return to their griefing on the pipe. So far though there has been no more than the usual activity around our home systems. Further South, the Doril pipe remains friendly although the old Curse Coalition have been replaced by 187 (Blood of Innocents). The big news of the week was an invasion of ASCN-held Paragon Soul by BoB, following the public announcement of ASCN's new Avatar titan. Currently the warring sides are the fairly obvious BoB/FIX vs ASCN/Axiom but expect further developments on this. The ongoing war in the South East between RA and the Coalition (LV, V, CHIMP, KOS) in which RA are making a come back with the help of Goonswarm, will be a key determinant as to how much support ASCN will get from that quarter. Comment: Given the remoteness of these locations it should not change operations in central Catch too much. We can expect to see some hostile fleets passing through but it is unlikely they will hang around. On the plus side, war and destruction is good for business!
Routes: Doril still the most favourable route for our purposes. Overall Threat State: Medium. >36hrs Stront in critical towers.
Industry: POS Industry has declined across the board cutting overall profits by nearly 50% since August. Between contracts and buy orders we are still ticking over but significantly we are now completely debt free. Several initiatives are in the planning phase (both internal and external to the corp) to mitigate the situation. Meanwhile, T1 production in Tycho remains a consistent if limited source of income and we will aim to allocate more resources to this over the coming weeks.
Fw4ppers: CEO is conducting an ongoing review of corp roles and responsibilities. Following on from the success of the joint mining op in Jaymass this weekend (61.5mill isk worth of minerals mined for the corp), Bruce has been nominated the corp Mining Director. Should he take the role, please lend him every assistance on future ops.
Forecast: The Corp Direction was put to the vote and it was unanimously agreed to continue with our current plan: Obelisk for empire hauling and a Chimera, funded primarily by the POS chain. However, with the slow down in the economy, we have discussed the possibility of an internal corp IPO or Bonds to raise isk for these. More on this later.

Weekly Sitrep #20
INTSUM: Things seem complex in the South. They're not really. MC/FIX continues to fight IAC. BoB continues to skirmish with ASCN. Everyone else is having a pot shot because they can. This is from Count Tassessine, ISS Chairman, on the recent standings change by D2 and friends from NAP to KOS:
Where does this leave 5punk? No change really. We'll continue as normal, join up with any gangs to help defend our POS's and outpost systems and patrol the pipes. We've weathered worse storms than this one so I'm not particularly concerned. The real bonus news is that Est is moving South to ASCN space which should open up the Assah route again. It's longer, but if Doril becomes untennable it's a good alternative way into Empire for us (we used to use it when CC were hostile).
Meanwhile, it looks like a Hungarian corp are moving into W9 (against the advice of Fea, Dolly [TDOE] and Nick [R-E]). I intend to rat intensively whenever they're in system. They'll soon get the friggin point.
Also, you may have heard rumours of elements of TDOE joing us. This is no more than just that: rumours. We've talked idly about it but there are no plans and nothing official yet. Similarly there has been idle chit chat about moving location, leaving ISS, scrapping the POS's, raiding AAA space, getting drunk and playing frig football. Any and all ideas are always welcome!

Ultimately D2 group are denying themselves a valuable docking point/resupply post in Catch. But then they have access to the AAA stations not so far away so they can afford to take this stance strategically, whilst potentially harming the 3rd party (ISS) resupply of their enemies. But once again it looks like Stain will be a strategic turning point of any long term campaign in the area (the AAA outposts would be good targets for LV and friends). narf though I'm far more concerned about the attitude of The Priory undermining the NAP with IAC. Not many people like IAC but were they to turn hostile it would mean bad guys on the Doril route and right on our doorstep.2/ We're working at figuring out how this situation came about and rectifying it but I suspect it is quite simply the war in the south spilling over on ISS combined with a lack of targets in the north.
With the BoB/ASCN war accelerating, it seems the political landscape in Eve is coagulating into two or three blocks:
BoB, RA, Goonswarm
D2, AAA, IRON, RAZOR
ASCN, LV [Comment: no doubt the rest of the coalition will join in with them too]
The two first entities are attacking ASCN and soon perhaps LV too.
For an entity as large as ISS, with so many pilots who are not aware of the consequences of the actions of each and every one, it is close to impossible to prevent us from providing excuses for one or the other entity to shoot at us.
Meanwhile, we keep a low profile. We'll see what can be done.

INTSUM: Catch is a busy place at the moment! Dusk & Dawn (D2) for one reason or another set ISS to -10 and have had gangs roaming around the HED / KDF / ZX areas shooting up anything that gets in their way. Their buddy alliances IRON and RAZOR are also around, but RAZOR at least has ISS set to blue still. Typically though, if they're in a shared gang they'll still shoot up our ships. ISS Mgmt is working hard to resolve the situation but meanwhile take care around our home systems and use scouts! Beyond that there's no real change and daily life continues with IAC/McFIX duking it out in F4 and the usual hostiles around Marginis/Tycho (AAA, Est and friends). For reasonable analysis of the BoB/ASCN war, check the Eve Tribune but remember that all news agencies are prone to bias. Still, it beats wading through the forum.
Routes: Doril still the most favourable route for our purposes. Secondary is G-5/Assah route through Providence. Overall Threat State: Medium. >36hrs Stront in critical towers.
Industry: Fernite Carbs remain at an all time low and I am investigating the feasability of switching back to Phenolic Composite production to boost income a bit. Still make a profit, but not nearly as much as I would like.
Fw4ppers: Realatively few recruits coming in at the moment while we concentrate on the merger with TDOE. Some of their members will join Fw4ppers and remain in empire so that will swell the ranks of miners and hopefully assist with the Fw4ppers minerals business. We're looking for a willing volunteer to become the Recruiting/Training director to assist Dres in his absence. Please get in touch if you are interested.
TDOE Merger: Please extend a warm welcome to TDOE. They've had a run of bad luck recently and I am very grateful to them for agreeing to merge into 5punkorp. In particular, please welcome Quinn and Dolly Parton who will join 5punkorp as directors. Together we will take 5punkorp forward to the next generation. More info on the merger can be found here. We'll need to get together to anchor their large POS in the ice mining system and take down the now redundant small POS in W9.
Forecast: Corp goal remain the same. We are about 85% done on minerals for a freighter and I have recently secured a BYOM deal with another ISS corp (they'll come to Khank to do the build). Thereafter we need to look at funding for a carrier. Internal corp bonds may be the way ahead for this. Immediate concern is to reevaluate our collective corp assets and rationalise our business plan to maximise profits. TDOE bring a significant ice/ore mining and building capability to our 5punkships operation in Tycho and I hope this will provide a valuable second income to the POS operation.
Oh, and it's fuel time again
INTSUM: Catch is a busy place at the moment! Dusk & Dawn (D2) for one reason or another set ISS to -10 and have had gangs roaming around the HED / KDF / ZX areas shooting up anything that gets in their way. Their buddy alliances IRON and RAZOR are also around, but RAZOR at least has ISS set to blue still. Typically though, if they're in a shared gang they'll still shoot up our ships. Weekly Sitrep #22 - Better Late Than Never
INTSUM: Catch has quietened down a lot with D2 going back up North and AAA concentrating on AXE down South. Some say pretty boring and they'd be right. Good for haulers, bad for business! Priory however continue to lay down the smack in Litom although if anyone sees them actually undock please be sure to let everyone know. Also be careful of the lowsec sniper gankers at the jump gate to Ihal (I think - somewhere around there anyway).
Routes: Doril still the most favourable route for our purposes. Secondary is G-5/Assah route through Providence which I've used a few times recently and it's been very quiet. Overall Threat State: Low/Medium. >36hrs Stront in critical towers.
Industry: Just to asway any fears, Fernite Carbs are actually making a profit, just not a very big one. I manage to sell enough to pay for the fuel and have a few mill left over but the amount of effort it takes me/my alt for such a low return is not really worth it. You may recall that I canvassed opinion for our corp goals a couple of months back and it seemed that most people were happy to carry on as we are. As a reminder though, are goals remain:
The second goal needs to be met via 5punkships production, POS materials, taxes or a combination of all three. Why 1 Billion? Because that will allow us to buy PvP battleships, corp insured, fitted and stationed in Tycho for us to go play in (Goal 4 - note that Passadiri!). That said, we must work together as a corp if we want to achieve this. We'll never get anywhere if you sit around waiting for one or two people to do all the work. Help Quin, Dolly and Fea out when they ask for assistance on the mining. Run a load of mins to Tycho from W9 or go repro some loot in Distillery. It all helps and will be to your benefit in the end.
The cap ships are coming on nicely - we have a carrier now thanks to Count T and are getting very close to the mineral requirments for an empire freighter, which will close the loop nicely on our logistics needs.
Fw4ppers: Elotane has graciously agreed to take on the role of Training/Recruiting Manager to assist Dres. Please give her all support in this.
Summary: We're deliberately shying away from enforced corp ops and mandatory payments or goals as we still firmly believe that this goes against the 5punky way of doing things. Being in ISS allows us to work like this and having the 2 towers in ZXIC maintains our unique position in the Alliance (we're the only non-ISSO corp to get an Alliance carrier so far). However, that does not mean we're not open to suggestions if there are better ways of doing it, and believe me, we have serioulsy discussed leaving ISS for another Alliance or merging 5punkorp into someone bigger. Personally, I would be rather sad to see the 5punkorp name go given how far we've come this last year and more.

The first goal has been going fairly well with mergers and intake from Fw4ppers but this is really something that every 5punker should get involved in, not just a few director types. When you sitting at the POS in W9 having chewed all the rats out, jump into the recruitment channel, talk to the locals, find out what goes on around us - that's how we find people who want to join and grow our corp.1. Expand corp membership with good quality, well trained pilots.
2. Provide a steady income for the corp (approx 1bill per month).
3. Acquire a carrier for 5punkorp and an empire freighter for Fw4ppers.
4. Provide battleship class or equivalent value ships to corp members for free.

Weekly Sitrep #23 - Short one this week
INTSUM: Priory have control of the Doril pipe and their new alliance, Shroud of Darkness, is growing. Establishment are back in the area though their tactics are as predictable as ever - if you see Loriena in local, run. She's the covops tackling scout. Also Chongus is hanging about in S-U again but he's easily kept out of the way with a cruiser. It's almost like the good old days!
Routes: Routes are difficult at the moment. Doril has Priory, Assah has Est, HED has the normal crowd of happy gankers. I'd suggest jump clones and carrier hauling for now. Since we are fortunate to have the ability to avoid these camps now, why risk it? Overall Threat State: Low/Medium. >36hrs Stront in critical towers. Except I'm upping the ZX towers to 48+ hrs now due to lessons learned from recent ops.
Industry:Making phenolics which are selling fairly well, fingers crossed. 5punkships going strong in Tycho thanks mainly to Passadiri. Any help acquiring minerals for him would be brill.
Fw4ppers: Some good work going on here. Now that 5punkorp is back on the level (cap ships sorted and bank balance growing again) I'm going to concentrate on recruiting and training for a bit. Expansion is healthy, for both corps! Anyone in empire should do the same really - just taking a fw4pper along on a level 4 mission is great fun and good training.
Summary: Ticking along nicely. Main Effort for now is recruiting and training. Once the wallet is looking fat we'll start paying dividends, possibly in the form of shiny toys for everyone. Watch this space.
