£220 quid delivered, reckon it's gonna be good? Might get it in a few weeks, perhaps after my holiday. Anyone got any good/bad experiences with BenQ monitors?

Benq are amazing for the price, i got one from staples a few years back on the cheap, decent response time and a nice picture. Not the best by any means, but they do the job very nicely all the same

Looks very good for the price. Just a warning though, some games might have problems with that non-standard resolution.

I've seen mostly decent-to-good reviews about BenQ so I think you'd be safe.

Nice one, cheers dudes. I know that res works with EVE so I'll be set
Should work with stuff like BF2142 and CS:S I'd bet.

Both beefs only support 4:3 screens, but you can (as fatherjack said) use a command line string
Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +username yourname +playerPassword yourpass +szx 1680 +szy 1050
