Is there crap you can delete in
if so. do, it used to work in BEEF.
Code: Select all
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\MoviesYep, or somewhere thereabouts. Just find and delete the movie files.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:Is there crap you can delete in

As for flying, I've always found it far easier in futurebeef than in BEEF. Just find a fairly empty Titan map and have a fly about - the transports are usually fairly neglected.

When I played BEEF a bit, I found that increasing the mouse sensitivity in choppers and jets really helped. I also found that using the inside view only helped, as you can get a much better idea of where you're pointingThe Incredible... wrote: Secondly, why do i find it so difficult to fly the transport/gunship? I had a go of FutureBeeF flying using a joystick (a horse-feedback sidewinder) at my Dad's house and once I got used to the sensitivity it was a piece of piss.
You set the thrust using a wheely thing that stayed in place and twisted the stick to use the rudder. It was the first time I was actually able to shoot objects on the ground, turn around and go back for another pass. I also took out other copters and evaded AA fire for quite a while too. Landing was still a bit tricky, though.
Normally I just crash immediately, especially when aiming at the ground.
