What's in your CD/DVD drive?

Post by Dog Pants »

Just occurred to me it might be interesting to ask (and see what tangent is attained). I, up until a second ago, had BEEF and futurebeef. Struck me as a testament to Dice that these two disks have been languishing in the warm innards of my machine for so long.

Future Beef
Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady (which will change fairly soon as I'm importing a large stack of cds onto my PC).

I wish there were an easier and quicker way of sticking all your cds onto your PC - it's the one major chore of having an mp3 player.

Nothing.

Abigail has managed to work out how to open both trays on the PC, and spends about 15 mins opening and closing the fucking things, and she now wanders off to the DVD's (pronounced doubledees) and comes back with them for me to open, and her to put them in and out the tray.

Oh my, what a fun game this is

Wait till she finds out what other things can fit in the tray - pancakes, loose change, jam...

Future beef (and for about a year before that it was normal beef).

It seems the majority of games I play don't need the disc in (or a disc at all, steam ftw), so I just leave the beefs in there unless I need to temporarily take it out to burn a dvd or rip a cd.

Fista looks all very shiny and nice, but it seems to have an issue with my router. Bah, looks like i will have to wait for the actual release so i can steal that instead

nothing

they're both fucked

they take many attempts to open and i left beef in there for months and almost couldn't get it out

it seemed to be sticking to the spindle, it got all scratched in the process :'(

it now has a ring of jam at the centre, as does vice city, and a ring of ground plastic about half way through

mental note, liteon are cheep, but shit!
