Post by TezzRexx »

Welcome me hearties and horses to another edition of Games out this week!™: Ending Friday 12th January 2007!!!

Image PC:
Hotel Empire 2

Image Playstation 2:
Tokobot Plus
World Snooker Championship 2007

Image PSP:
World Snooker Challenge 2007

Image Xbox 360:
Lost Planet (Limited edition also available)
World Snooker Challenge 2007

Image Xbox:
None this week...

Image Nintendo Wii:
WarioWare Smooth Moves

Image Gameboy DS:
Children of Mana
Bionicle Heroes
Uno 52

From the looks of things, it appears there will be no more Gamecube games for the foreseeable future, so I've removed it from the list.

As always if something is missing, just give us a poke.

Enjoy!

Is it the same sort of thing as the Wario game on the DS (lots of very silly minigames) but with Wii-style hand-waving instead of DS stylus-scribbling?

I've had my eye on Children of Mana for a while, but I very rarely play handheld games.
Tokobot Plus looks interesting - recently bought the PSP version for my sister, and she says it's quite good, but she is a lot more into puzzle games than I am.

I seen Wario Ware for the Wii advertised on telly, and I have to be honest, the graphics looked appauling considering what the Wii is capable of, and the mini games looked really really boring.

Wow, shake a bottle till it fizzes and the lid pops off
I can't see this having much replay value, but I can see it being fun with the parents and so on.
I expect it's very good at showing off what the controller can do, and not a lot else, as previous Wario Ware titles on the GameCube were awful as well.

I don't think you can get a proper idea of what the game is like from the look of it, it's most definitely something you have to play. And it's not supposed to have much longevity, it's just for a laugh.

W-o-wsers, I've always wanted to run a hotel, no.. wait.. I havn't, it sounds dull, at least it's a computer game though that'll make it exiting
Hotel Empire 2 sets gamers in the role of budding hotel managers as they pick locations, hire and assign staff, strike deals and make the strategic and day-to-day decisions needed to build and operate a world-renowned hotel property... room furnishing, pricing choices, vendor agreements and partnerships, management competence and staff allocation are just some of the many factors that will make or break would-be hoteliers.

Don't warn the tadpoles.. Eh.. what!.. oh sorry I was asleep, maybe the graphics are really good?...

Erm..

Yes, it seems much like the one on the DS - looks rubbish, but everyone who has had a go on mine emerges a couple of hours later looking a bit dazed and confused about where/when they are.
