If you're like us and you love freedom, you'll be ecstatic to know that Episode 2 of the ongoing Sam & Max series is now available for both season subscibers and non-subscribers. Titled "Situation: Comedy," the Freelance Police find themselves on the television set of WARP TV where daytime host Myra Stump is holding her studio audience hostage. We can only hope this ordeal involves wanton destruction.$8.95 gets you a single episode shot of detective pooch and his delightfully malicious rabbit-thing, while $34.95 (or a GameTap subscription) grants you a season pass for all six episodes. While studios like Valve seem to be tripping over themselves in attempting to deliver episodic content, Telltale Games has been on point with Sam & Max and remain extremely confident in delivering an episode a month throughout Spring. With future episode titles including "Abe Lincoln Must Die!" and "The Mole, The Mob and The Meatball", this fiercely thickening plot could not possibly unravel fast enough.
Maybe their punctuality will finally make those Wii pipe dreams a reality after all. Also be sure to check out our review of Situation: Comedy for more comedic quips and screenshots.Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments
