If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Wouldn't a link to the wiki (and encouraging people to write stuff in the wiki ;)) be a better way of doing this?

The wiki would be great for stuff like this, but no fucker really knows about it or uses it.

I'll probably mirror the content into the wiki once we have some progress here.

This :above: hard!

The Wiki could be bloody useful if we could find a way of integrating it into the site more - as it is we all forget about it and it gets neglected.

Sorry Berk, tangent attained already :(

This is by no means complete, but there's enough in there to see what people think.

Nice work - interesting about the RAMsinks - they always seem to show them in the pictures, but rarely come with the memory when you buy it.

deject's CPU guide may need updating with some of the new chipset info - I think some 775s don't support the Core Duos, but I could be wrong.

I'll add some details in about areas I have some knowledge in sometime, although some of it might be better as just a link for people actually interested to click, with just a do/don't bother guide in the main text.
