I have a few items I can't sell on the market anymore - mostly Sansha crystals - have they been removed from the game?
The Rev notes say something about items not in a market group not being tradeable, the obvious solution would be to auction them, but there's a problem there, too:
Minimum start price for public auctions is 1M, with a deposit of 100k. That's ludicrous for the items I'm used to dealing with - and the max length is only a week.
Maybe it's an isolated example with me having discontinued items in store, but if they're still valid, why weren't they deleted or converted, and how are people supposed to buy and sell them?
Can anyone explain what their thinking was on this one? I read the auction stuff was put in to help corporations, but a great aspect of the game has always been that you can get by just doing your own thing, if you wanted to.
What happened to the market?

Strange, I'm sure I've managed to sell quite a few - as I don't use them, infact they've been a solid bit of income to me along with the other bits of rat loot.fabyak wrote:They never sold because you could only see them on the market if you had them yourself and did a 'show market details' on them. Otherwise you could not see them or search for them.
Only used to get between 50k and 200k for them, but it all adds up. With the old system they'd sit on the market for up to three months, so the chances of someone finding them was a bit better than a week-long auction, but I wasn't aware they weren't searchable.
When I trade stuff I do it to make money, by undercutting existing sellers, yet still keeping market values high, but I'm not in the habit of ripping off mates, so if anyone has a use for them, they can have them for nothing, although I expect they're pretty feeble compared to what people already have.
They're only Sansha (not True) and I think I've just got Microwave M, Radio S and Multi S now. Still have snowball launchers and snowballs from last Christmas, too - same story with them. Bunch of tags and logs too - but they were never worth anything.
