Profiteering bastards

Post by Dog Pants »

This really grips my shit; predictably there are no Wiis in stock anywhere, but you can already buy them second hand for up to £500. People buy the things, leaving less for people who want them, so that when they're all sold out they can profit from it. It's exactly like touting tickets and if I had my way I'd make it illegal. Bastards.

Retail is £180. Which I have, but no fucker has any to sell me.

Unfortunately basic economics dictates that the retail price of Wiis should just be a lot higher. While yeah it sucks to have to pay more than double the retail cost, it's not surprising.

It's partly the fault of stupid people that are willing to buy things at the inflated prices, if they didn't then it wouldn't be worth buying up the stock and selling them at that price.
