I'd love to see Carnage introduced as well.

I know next to nothing about the story from the comic books, having only ever watched the cartoons, and then only sporadically. But ever since they announced the first film I've been hoping for Venom or Carnage, since if they're going to do all the computery magics, they might as well do the coolest looking baddies.

I would imagine they would do the Ultimate spidey type way, else you'd have to introduce the whole secret wars thing. But also, the movies don't follow the ultimate story lines EXACTLY, else everyone would still be in high school and whatnot. It'd imagine it'd be something like that though.

Thats true, they are mixing the two a little. They certainly seem to be going for the older story about Brock (rival reporter) rather than the Ultimate version (some college kid that new Parker years ago).
