Don't know but I imagine it's no worse than announcing your Xbox tag. You can share pictures and send messages as well as let your little Mii characters mingle. I guess it will be of more use later when more games become available.

Aah, I see.
I've added Spoodie, but nothing happens until he adds me too. No unsolicited stuff then. Braw.

Mine won't connect to the internets at the moment, some firewalling issue with my router from what I can gather. I connected it at my Dad's and got the two updates, but it wouldn't get the channels data, as the the server was busy.

Tonight my internets in general is being horribly spacky and disconnecting every few minutes.
Edit: seems my Wii-meddling has given me router issues, which I've fixed. Will try Wii-ing again later when the servers are quiet and my arms have recovered their strength.

I had no real issues connecting to the nets. Updates fast enough and general speeds good enough.

I've even finally moved up to WPA encryption from the WEP that the DS forced me down to.

Why do you have a second Wii and why haven't you told us your number?

This posting from Wii is actually quite easy and fast with the predictive text thing.

He let his mate buy his first pre-order so he could give it away as a Christmas present. His second one is in the process of being picked up as I type.

YOu think this wii address book will work like the wifi connection thing on DS where you could multi play with people as long as you had their address? I can't wait to see 5punk wii games if thats the case.
