SMS Report status(es?)

Seeing as Google has sapped my morning with no results, and my support at work is too slow and not particularly good, I thought I'd put this one to my super-duper team of tech whores (ooh, could have a new award there):

Does anyone use the Reports web client for SMS? If so can you give me a brief description of what the advertisement statuseses mean? I've got all these reports and although I can take an educated guess at what they mean I'd much rather know for sure so I can do something about the errant ones (or, equally likely, ignore them with a clear conscience).

Specifically I have status (what the fuck is the plural of status?) like:

No Status (for acceptance status)
Waiting (for delivery status)
Accepted - no further status (again, delivery status)

Oh.... "Systems Management Server"?

I just spent 5 minutes thinking wtf is DP on about, trying to put it into context with a mobile text message.

Can't help you tho I'm afraid - don't really use that.

Edit: Dictionary.com says it is 'statuses' - doesn't sound right though I agree.

Oh yeah, I probably should have been more specific. Sorry - I've been wrestling the chuffing thing all morning so it made perfect sense to me. You were my best hope too, with your big computar brain that knows (almost, it seems) everything.

All is not lost. I seem to remember WEY mentioning using it, and Berk can search the internet with the power of thought alone and gather information from it a thousand times faster than google.

My guess would be Statii
(going on what cactus becomes), other than that I can't contribute to this thread im afraid as i've not done used SMS

It's not really that complicated - SMS is just a system that will (in this case) remotely install software over a network. Mine has been centralised recently, so I'm now a branch of a larger system and as such I've lost control over the system's status reporting and I only have access to a web app that generates status reports. Problem is, I've never had any training regarding this web app and I'm not entirely sure what all the messages mean so I'm kind of flying blind. Still, just in case it all goes tits I've set it to run after I've gone on leave for Christmas

Sorry mate, we do all our deployment through group policy in Active Directory.

I only know "of" it, but I've never used it myself, I assume this is the type of thing you want to find out, however I cannot find a link to the article as I expect it's a training course http://content1.skillsoft.com/contentLI ... ummary.htm

That's the status querying in the admin console, which I know how to use. It's the web app that I've been relegated to using, and I can't find any information on the bloody thing.
