IAC War Room

Thread is an info feed for IAC War to keep 5punkorp informed of developments. It will also be a ruthlessly moderated thread so keep general discussions to the other threads please. DO NOT discuss anything posted here outside this forum or private convo's - not even corp chat.

Strategic Plan (CONFIDENTIAL)

Main assault started on Saturday night. The plan is to knock a few towers into reinforced every night so they have to keep stagging on to protect them when they come out of reinforced mode.

Current Oders (Repeated from ISS Forum):
Situation: The war is 48 hours old. We were surprised and we were thus not prepared for it logistically.

The priority is to build up our logistics base. We estimate we will need 3-4 days to attain a satisfactory level of supplies to not having to worry about it for a while. This pertains specifically to ships (replacement battleships to be picked up in Tenerifis, see Quartermaster General) and POS fuels, ie. strontium for our POS.

We will focus on achieving this before this coming weekend, where we expect (and hope ) for some massive fleet battles with IAC in the systems around the outposts.

Orders (valid until Dec 15, 1200 hours evetime)

Operational priorities:

1/ Complete logistics build-up
2/ Facilitate capital fleet build-up (help with cyno fields for the carriers and dreadnoughts)
3/ Avoid major support fleet losses (deny the enemy largescale static engagements)

Current mission profiles:

a) Interdiction of IAC operations in and between their outpost systems, fx. mining operations (small fleet sizes)
b) Guerilla style attacks with fighter wing support (small to medium fleet sizes)
c) Convoy escort (large fleets, all types)

Overall, at this stage, we would rather have three fleets of 20 ships, than one 60 ship blob. Use the POS we have around in Catch to move carriers around. More small fleets create more fleet experience all round, and are generally more fun.

For those of you who don't know, Selene is the boss of MC. He is a master strategist, a gifted leader, and gives extremely clear and concise orders. He also has a huge amount of experience.
You want to win this thing? The way to do it is raw numbers doing what they are told. That's pretty much it.
On PR and Eve-O posting, Selene wrote:Guys, this is really damn simple - IAC is shooting at public property. We're taking steps to take their guns away.

Honestly, I wouldn't think about trying to justify what is going on here to the idiots on EVE-O because most of them are just trying to stir shit up and have no frakkin idea what they are talking about. The vocal minority sees ISS as just another alliance.

The shareholders who reside in most of the alliances in EVE know better.
On IAC's Cap Fleet, he wrote:If IAC are stupid enough to deploy capitals against an allied then they will all die horribly. narf, I don't think they have any idea how to deal with the hammer about to hit them.
MC Hammer's here?

Providence Mining Ops

Dale0404, Blue Star Brotherhood, is organising continual large scale mining ops in the Providence area. If you are inclined that way and want to help churn out some minerals for ship building then contact him in game. He can probably provide barges, if not we can jump some up from W9.

All manufactured goods are being handed over to Sthymj who is the Quartermaster for the Alliance. He will distribute as required.

Have an ISSN POS in F4...one might say, it's a little hard:

P.S. JB- has 5 out of 11 POS's in reinf too now.

So, any word on the continuation of the war vs. IAC after the bottleshop goes down?

I'm curious as to where we will aim. I guess JBY is a good indication as to our next goal as almost all of their POS are into reinforced atm..

IAC hasn't tried to surrender? Or are we not hearing any of it....

I utterly demand that the Bottleshop is renamed 'Alcoholics Anonymous'.

on that note, I had suggested "AA - Catch chapter", but it'll probably end up as either "Allied temporary forward base" (BD's PC suggestion) or "Lilan's shiney toy" (guess who)

I had all sorts of pc issues last night and gave up after the 4th CTD. I'll try and join the fun tonight.

Could somebody give me direction on the ongoing needs of Fw4ppers mining and shipy production? I've gotten some new bpc's, Celestis I thinks. Don't know what else your needs are, please update me.

AAA logged off in JBY with 100+ fleet. MC and LV will not risk their cap ships on a login trap. Apparently it can be rather nasty...100 people logging on at the same time while your dreads are in siege mode causes so much lag that the next thing the dread pilot sees is the inside of a station. FIX and AXE have lost rather a lot to this tactic and the GM's refuse to answer pleas to have it labelled an exploit.

There is no political or diplomatic solution to the AAA factor either. MC and LV have pledged to defend F4, but we're stopping there for the moment.

We continue to carry out offensive raids into IAC space and interdict their logistics in F4. Be prepared for this all to get nasty again after Christmas. There is no way IAC will let things rest as they are but meanwhile we will consolidate our logistics, recoup our losses and embed ourselves firmly in F4.

I don't know how long AAA will be willing to wait offline in JBY, I'm sure they have other things to do. It has turned into a very good stalling tactic though and may offer IAC the chance to regroup themselves although, narf, from what I've seen the last few days I kinda doubt that (unless the rabbit is deep in their sleeve).

If placing lots of cans at your POS is an exploit then logonski should definitely be. Theer's no hiding the intent of 100 pilots logging on at the same time.

Damn ISS aren't Devs, AAA are!! (*dons tinfoil hat)

For those who don't know, The Bottleshop has now passed into the hands of ISS. It has been renamed ISS Kablorgytnhyedv something or other.
