So, I'm having this problem...

Post by Hehulk »

Whenever I try to play BEEF, be it through double clicking the icon on my desktop, or via xfire it loads the program up (I can see it running in my processes list) but doesn't display it on my screen or taskbar. I've tried updating graphics drivers and reinstalling the game, but that hasn't done a thing.

It did use to work fine until I decided to do a fresh install of windows so my machine ran faster, but with the same gfx drivers, direct x, patches etc I can't see how this should make a big difference. Any suggestions to get it working?

Dunno, but our server's been playing up recently culminating in it spitting it's dummy tonight and not letting anybody back on.

Actually, if youcan't even start the game it's not likely to be that.

I had this a while back, although I can't remember what caused it. I rolled back my GFX card drivers and clocked it back to normal speed, that seemed to work,

And running Driver Cleaner before installing new drivers

I also had the same thing. When you double click the icon just leave it for a few mins, it worked for me and hasn't troubled me since.
