so i've been playing future beef for a couple of hours this afternoon and now have 1200/1050 points towards my next rank!

i want to rank up so i can get my next unlock

Try joining a different server. Sometimes the update thing spacks a bit and takes a new server to kick it into action.

tried that, no luck

i'm up to over 1400 now so i should have ranked up twice today but havent

managed to get my bronze silver and gold starrs though

as well as a few badges for kills with each kit

I've had the problem as well, can take 24 hours for your points to register sometimes.

the thing is, it's not that the points haven't registered

the points are there, but they for some reason haven't triggered the rank up

if you look on there it says 1464/1050

as you say it probably will work itself out but its a bit weird

and only 130 odd points to my next rank

is it worth me gatting the light assault rifle for the medic?

if you want it, not like you are restricted to using only that rifle as assault class. I've not tried it myself but I know the other rifle packs a nice punch especially at close range.
