the first bit of cheating i've seen on 2142

it started with dozens of supply drops next to the missle silo

Image

which, apparently, caused the silo to fire rocket after rocket continuously and destroyed the enemy titan in seconds

Image

quite an amusing moment really, the whole team was just standing there watching in awe

the devs seem to be quite good at patching exploits so far, I wouldn't think it'll last much longer. There is absolutely no point in that what so ever.

Did the commander slowly build up that collection of supply crates or did he hax loads of them?

I'm guessing it was like the commander hack for BF2 (which the hacker didn't need to actually be the commander to use). I hated seeing my framerate just die because 100 cars get dropped right next to me.

So does that mean dropping a crate next to a silo speeds it up slightly? That'd be an interesting little quirk, haxxing aside.

yeah, it was a hax. There were about 4 crates in the air at a time.
