The Mighty Boosh

Well after the constant mentions of this from the likes of Stoat and others on TeamSpeak, I decided to :sweep: it to see what all the fuss is about.

I had seen a few episodes on BBC3 and whilst finding them funny, didn't really understand how the characters fitted together.

After having watched the first series set in the zoo, everything made much more sense (as much as Mighty Boosh can) and I found the whole thing a lot more enjoyable to watch.

The reason for posting this, well, even though many of you have probably already watched/enjoyed it, I think you should give it a go if you haven't.

It's modern day alternative comedy at it's best, and if you like shows like the IT Crowd, then this should be up your street providing you accept it's all a bit silly.

I've now asked for the Mighty Boosh Live DVD for Christmas, and I wish I was into the series back when the tour was on

I still haven't got around to sweeping the second series despite how much I enjoyed the first.

Do it now! :)

I can't make up my mind which series is better, as the second definitely differs from the first, and places the characters in far weirder situations, whereas the first one had some more relaistic elements to it that I enjoyed as well.

Bolo & Naboo feature a lot more in the second series, and they both have me in stiches with their single lines and so on.

The moon is quite funny in the second series, but only sometimes.

Either way, does anyone know if a third series is planned, or when it's likely to be aired on TV?

A third series is planned, yes. No idea when it's due though.
You should be in for a treat with the live show- it was great fun.

Ditto on both counts.

BTW the Boosh boys are in an episode of Darkplace, Apes of Wrath, if you want to check it out. I keep meaning to make a thread on that but haven't got around to it yet.

I lent my DVDs to a friend months ago and I still haven't got them back.

I'm getting severe Boosh cravings now.

i finally got round to watching the second series the other day and it had me in stitches, much better than the first IMO.
The dvds have some good extras too, and some amusing commentary from the guys.
