hehe i ♥ it. my favorite morning talk shoe "Elliot in the Morning" located in DC was talking about EVE and the 675bil isk scam and people making money online at ebay. i laughed so hard.

well i might have quoted the isk amount wrong since it came from a 3rd party but he was talking about the latest scam everyone got screwed a month or 2 back

Yeah that would've been ECB. It wasn't a scam to begin with and it ran very successfully for several months, paying out huge dividends from investments. Sadly the main guy running it got sick and tired of being flamed and labelled a dirty scammer and it became something of a self fulfilling prophecy. Shame really, cos it was a great idea and one that will likely not happen again for a long time.

Really? The article on it in PCGamer gave a very different light on it. They claimed that it was a scam all along. They said it was basically a pyramid scheme, with the payments from the newer people being used to pay off the previous investors, and that the people at the beginning were just lucky. According to them, shortly after the guy fucked off with everyones isk, he came back with an alt, basically saying "lolzors! Im in you're banks theiving you're isk!"
