Garry's Mod Competition #3
HELLO ONE AND ALL, AND WELCOME TO THE THIRD GARRY'S MOD CONSTRUCTION COMPETITION!
Sorry for the long pause!
Winner of the Siege-Engine competition has still been undecided, due to me generally being a lazy bastard, so if you'd like to vote for a winner, go do so now in the previous thread now! Christmas is fast approaching, and the theme for the third challenge will require your best ragdoll positioning skills, and now with the release of GMod 10, your creations can be all the stranger and wackier.
Let's see your versions of THE NATIVITY SCENE!
Think GMan in a manger! Think Alyx giving birth! Think Breen as a wise-man!
Fully functioning, videos and pictures please, .sav files would also be quite lovely.
Points awarded for LULS and WIN!

I'm included to agree and this sounds a bit hard even though I've learnt some garrys mod now.ProfHawking wrote:that is too "posery" and not enough "mechanicy" for my liking
But thinking about, you could make a giant mechanical baby jesus from containers and stuff of that nature instead. Doesn't have to be a traditional nativity scene, just related.

Perhaps not surprisingly, I have already thought of this on many occasions.Grimmie wrote:Think Alyx giving birth!
Anything vaguely Christmassy-related, or stupidly unrelated can work. While I could manage a few "humourous" ragdoll poses, animating them is way beyond my ken.
Choose to be inventive rather than moan about the compo - this is 5punk, not b3ta you grumpy Ebeneezers! Perhaps a baby-delivery-system which helps ferry the little baby Jebus from his Mummy's tummy to the awaiting manger (bathtub). Or a present-slinging device which assists Santa in his quest to deliver the presents to all the chimneys. Or G-Man fisting a reindeer.

I may get the mod purely for that.FatherJack wrote: ........... G-Man fisting a reindeer.
