The PSP will have more games available immediately after launch that the DS has now.
I suspect it will be similar to the PS2 vs Gamecube thing. You've got to jump through all the hoops for Nintendo to say "yes", so most games making people thing "bugger that for the proverbial game involving fighting men" and make things for platforms with looser controls, like X-box and PS2.
Or PC, of course
Meh
Fuck it, I'll have both!
I've never understood the console wars, They all have their positives & negatives. I currently own a GC, DS, PC and am buying an Xbox this week. Purely because I like games, in any shape and form (apart from mind games that girls play, not half as much fun as Warioware: Touched or Halo). So I say both!
I wouldn't like to rule any format out really. Does that make me weak and non-committal?

Re: Meh
Nope, I agree with everything you said, but it does seem to look like the majority of gamers would buy a PSPtandino wrote:I wouldn't like to rule any format out really. Does that make me weak and non-committal?

Re: Meh
Exactly. But I don't look at it as a console war. It's turning into a "Console-user war". Which I prefer, because it means I can buy everything and not care, but I still get to give PS2/PSP users shifty looks.tandino wrote:Fuck it, I'll have both!
*Gives PS2/PSP users shifty-looks*

Seconded...I can buy everything and not care, but I still get to give PS2/PSP users shifty looks.
*Looks around shiftily*
