Motörhead

Post by Fred Woogle »

Hard Hitting Rock'n'Roll, and as the great man himself says, "We Are Motörhead, We Play Rock'n'Roll" - That says it all, whether you are new to the band, the style of music, or a long time fan, they never fail to impress.

From experience, you get a few wankers at the gigs, who spend the whole night chanting "Ace of Spades, Ace of Spades, Ace of Spades!!!!!" - They personally piss me, and alot of other fans off, so your best of ignoring them. You get a few kids at the gigs who have never seen a real band live before, half of them leave with grins on there faces bigger than the first time they got fucked, the other half, well they moan and go back to their emo shit.

You get all different types of fans, from your traditional trad' rockers, bikers, hells angels, punks, nu-metal kids, thrashers, even seen a few buisiness men. LOTS OF BIG HAIRY SWEATY MEN, but its ok, as they are all there for the same reason, to listen to some ball busting rock'n'roll, drink beer and see Motörhead.

Maybe you've heard a few songs, not really liked it, but I guarentee you this, they are a "LIVE" band, you see them live, andthen 90 out of 100 times, you will go back to appreciate the albums.

But yes, Motörhead, well worth seeing if you have any roots in rock music, they have influinced alot fo bands from different genres, Thrash Metal, Nu-Metal, Grunge, Punk, ect, ect.

WOOOOOO! MOTöRHEAD OWN YOUR MUM!!!!!!

Also, Lemmy has more stage presence than Ozzy himself.

*edit, I will eidt this so its better some soberer time*

Never been a fan of them myself, as I don't tend to like the heavy stuff, I'm more of a prog' rock fan myself.

Although, if I had to choose a heavy band to listen to, then it would probably be Motörhead or Metallica (the stuff when they sold out)

I can listen to Punk no problem, but anything Metal or Heavy Rock just annoys me as I like to understand what the singer is saying, which is probably why I like the 2 bands mentioned above, as the rest just shout and groan loudly into the mic'

Ty, we all already know you love Motorhead. Don't you think its a bit bias coming from you? If you got somebody else to like it then that would be more interesting.
I for one can't stand them, except possibly the Ace of spades. So naa na na naaa naaa.

When you enjoy listening to an Iron & Wine album or some Damien Rice or something then that would be as equally amazing as me enjoying motorhead i think.

Oh, and i have to ask, have you ever worn a suit not at a wedding or funeral?

Pffft. You do have a point though - Ty recommending Motorhead is like the Pope saying Catholicism is pretty good.
