Tweaks & Hunkmegs!

Just max'd out my FPS and set my hunkmegs setting to 512, and runs fast as fuck!

you have 1gig of RAM?

someone on another board mentioned that you can have the hunkmeg at 2/3 of your RAM - im running mine at 666!!!

I actually have 2 GB of ram, but didn't want to put it up too much incase it has problems.

I might up it to 1024 when I get home

This really did make a massive difference last night whilst I was playing in the SUMMER69 server alongside you.

I tried this before on standard COD by typing in the command line, but it didn't seem to make much difference.
I might manually add it into the config file like I did with UO, but then again, I doubt I'll ever play standard COD again anyway

ive got 1gig and was running at 666 - but to be perfectly honest, i didnt really notice any difference whatsoever (although everything ran fine, and my computer didnt blow up!!) - Some one on another board as just told me that you need to keep to multiples of 128 - so this might be why!!

I reckon you should go with 1024 - im sure it will be fine - it still leaves you with more than enough!!!

It was good fun on Summer69, although I find that really full servers can be too hectic after a while! - especially playing TDM.
S'69 seems to be one of the most popular UO servers around at the moment!!

BTW, you were kicking arse!!!
