Flash/mySQL stuff

Been working on some stuff for the Haxxor thingy (OMGWTF!), and came up with a cunning plan regarding the front end for the game. It all revolves around one thing though: Getting Flash to work with mySQL. I know you can (thats how the arcade works, after all) but anyone know how easy it is? It'll need to be getting stuff out the database as well as putting stuff in.

Just to give you an outline of what i was thinking: The bit of the game where your actualy hacking would be done through the a little Flash sub-game type thing. It will load the layout of the server you're hacking and the statistics for your character in to Flash, and then as you do things it will save your progress by updating the database accordingly.

Im off for a bit of a play about with it, but any tips or ideas would be welcome.

after fiddeling with the archade, i thing te results from teh games are passed through a url to an extrenal file to handel the db stuff

EDIT: it appears to be a hashed cookie

Sounds about right

On the other hand, I wouldn't have a clue how to help Joose, as I just installed the thing, I didn't create it
