And the moral of the story - don't go down on your girlfriend when it's her time of the month.
Gods, I'm disgusted with myself for that.

Yay for zombies! Given my penchant for zombies and costumes I'm surprised at myself for not having done it. Still, there's always next year...

I guess that would work if the TV looked like this:
Your joke needs updating.

He was fixing the TV aerial when he fell of the roof and hit the ground resulting in terminal injuries. Thusly his TV, being unable to receive an adequate signal to produce anything amounting to qualitative sound and picture, continued to emit an uninterrupted stream of white noise, herein onomatopoeically represented by the term 'shhhhh'. The fact that said TV may or may not have had four legs is open to discussion but for the sake of argument it is a minor irrelevance which is merely a vehicle for adding tempo to what would otherwise be confusing question: "what goes 'shhhh' " would be even more ambiguous thus detracting from the overall intention of the original proposition, that is to say, to provide limited and short lived humour.

If i'd had known that before the joke would have been slightly more funny.
