My last gig was Gomez at the Carling Academy in Newcastle and they were fucking excellent. I've always loved their albums, and own all of them, but it was the first chance I've had to see them live. They were brilliant.
Before that, lots of random pub gigs around Newcastle. Last gig of a big band (popular, not Glen Miller) before Gomez was Powderfinger in Manchester. They're an Australian rock band who are pretty ace, along similar lines to Pearl Jam. Oddessy Number 5 is their best album in my opinion if you fancy sweeping it for a listen.

Doesn't really count as a gig possibly, but I went to see Blue last.
My girlfriend at the time dragged me. It was shit.
I don't do gigs, more go see DJs at clubs, tho ages since I did that also.

I want to be there lots and lots. My next gig is in a couple of weeks, consisting of Less than Jake and Dropkick murphys.
My last gigs were some local bands I saw, my last major "gig" might actually have been Reading Festival.. damnit..
