*/Sticks silly Pumpkin Hat on head and falls asleep... :faint: :ahoy:

Just had my first game with "outsiders"... not as bad an experience as I thought it was going to be.

I reckon we should Schedule a game one night... what do you reckon?

They're not bad actually are they? I've only ever found people to be quiet or helpful. Not once have I seen the word noob used, and whenever I've played with more experienced players they've praised good shots and offered little bits of advice. :likesitall: I'd certainly be up for a scheduled 5punky game.

As for the pumpkin balls, I got them as a free gift. Might be rank related (ie, novices only or something).

How about a scheduled game every Friday evening?

Seems nothing is set in stone then, so it might take off well.
Haven't had chance to sit infront my home PC for over a week now, but can't wait to get back into this.

Me and another Rookie F were playing with a beginner.
He made an effort to say "Bad" when we missed an obvious shot :(

Though I did get my first win :D

Probably not an English speaker. Last night I missed a short putt and was rewarded with LOL spelt out in love hearts with a little plain-text LOL in the middle of the O. It tickled me.

I had a game last night with someone who was a bit too chatty, and kept using those blobby face things, which I can't work out. Called macho-something, but was a girl in a blue summer dress and heels that should never have been allowed on a golf course. Then Grimmie came on and started calling hax. :)

Most people do seem quite pleasant. Chatty girl did say Miss! a few times, but it was pretty jokey. Only the very first time I connected did I see bad behaviour, two guys had just left a game, one accusing the other of hacking, and then delivering a round of fucks to anyone who dare suggest they take their conversation elsewhere.

I installed this last night and ploughed my way through the tutorial then bought a pumpkin hat for nothing. It seemed fun but I think the fun would be multiplied tenfold if a few of us went for a Saturday/Sunday morning round.

FORE!

Absolutely. I miss my sunday morning golf and with winter closing in Albatross18 is a lot more appealing than the real thing.

Wouldn't have anything to do with playing golf with Hentai style Girlies in short skimpy clothing by any chance then, as opposed to the grumpy old duffers at the Golf Club??? :? :)

Well that was fun, I think Sunday golf should be a regular thing.

Now all that remains is to build my character a little, in order to play in tournaments.

Sunday 5punky Tournament. We could have a phallic-looking glass trophy with a golf ball on the end, and the winner has to kiss it!

By the looks of things they've not implemented the guild system yet.

I did my first banana shot today, right after Mrs Pants accused DP of cheating.

Like the power spins you have to have the ball spinning in the same direction as the cursor key you press during your shot, and have to hit a Pangya as well.

Later I performed some embarrasing misses while attempting Cobra Shots and Tomahawks, so I'm going to try and pull one of those off on the practice course.

Hehe, that was because I told her to use a sand wedge to chip to the end of the fairway and then used a 1 wood myself from the same place to land on the green. It was a genuine mistake though.

Ahhh, that explains it. I thought you were just trying to make Mrs Pants feel better about being rubbish

Heh, you have to press two buttons in between the gauge being half-way back and the pink bit, hence I kept completely missing the pink bit and the ball. I did it again later on in practice and got an animation of hitting myself in the head with my club, which almost made it worth it.
