New regions in eve

Post by Anhamgrimmar »

NB: i'm using my new found ability as a 5punk god (apparently) to think out loud for this....

are we planning to send a couple of bods out into this new space? just a thought, but is it worth considering sending out a couple of haulers with a pos/some fuel, to see whether this place is worthwhile going to?

narf, i can see ISS heading out there, to get a supply of these new booster stuffs, and i was wondering if it'd be worth speaking to CT about sending a recon in horse, and getting a foothold on day one.

yeah...um.....buy some drugs and stuff too, ok? :?

I know nothing about these new regions. I also know nothing of this booster stuff of which you speak. Does it only come from the new regions? Anyways, I should think that every alliance, corp and pod pilot in the whole game is thinking the same thing. There'll be some pretty big fights for the new areas methinks - and ISS ain't renowned for our PvP abilities.

I would be ALL for it, if we had something that could jump in directly. (i.e. Dread, Carrier, or some such thing)

I suspect the gates will be camped royally for some time, as pie-rat types will know the 'value' of new space, besides the firepower that will be onhand there to try to claim space on warp-in day.

I doubt any ISS corps will manage to get a foothold there. The whole navy SHOULD go and have an outpost ready to launch in a key system with the most dominating blob of industrials ever seen by GOD to claim an entire systems in a matter of hours, but doubt logistically that we could pull off such an operation.

Um.. new areas? Beyond that I thought boosters would be all over, like drugs.
As it is I'm happy with the little space I play around in now. So um.. werd

I'm with Fea on this one, it will be mayhem!

Whilst it would be cool to try and get a foothold there, it would be too difficult and take too long to establish which system to live in, let alone which moon to pitch our tent on.

It's going to make the whole LV/-V- vs RedSwarm thing very interesting given their new location

Also, the new booster stuff won't just be located in the new regions, it'll be all over as far as I'm aware. Plus, it'll be a mad rush, wouldn't be surprised seen as it'll most likely link onto GW if -V- have a massive supply of pos's ready to swarm in.
