Moosick files/folders

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Moosick files/folders

Post by Lateralus »

Ok, all of my music is arranged by artist, then by album in sub-folders. Is there a way to easily copy songs from different artists on a compilation album (eg soundtracks) into a single folder for easy transfer onto an MP3 player, or do I just have to put in some effort and pick them out one by one?

To be honest, I'm just using itunes for playing and ripping at the mo, and the files I'm after are already ripped.

Well I don't know if itunes does this, but both CDex and EAC allow for a "Various Artist" naming scheme for exactly this purpose, so soundtracks and such can be in one folder.

If you have the itunes+ipod combo, you should be able to be able to add the tracks by album.

If you don't have an ipod, you're stuck getting each file manually.
