Haha, that video rocks Stoat, however I am utterly shit at Garry's mod and wouldn't be able to achieve anything as good as that!

Something went badly wrong at one point and I got this huge glowing 3D "ERROR" thing. Trendy.

Remember, the competition is to build a drivable car.
Points awarded for spazzy design. Stoat's car is AWESOMEZOOMG!

But I'm sure we can make spazzier cars than that!
Think.. Crows pinned to the sides with crossbow bolts.
Think a series of NPC's trailing behind the car like cans from a 'just married' car.
Think stretch limo! Think ejector seats! Think cars with wings that fold out!

Christings, that sounds more complex than a boat/sofa combo. I can't wait for Gmod10 now.
Grimmie wrote:Doesn't the unregistered version of fraps last for a measly 60 seconds at a time?
30 seconds, I think. I took lots of videos and stitched them together in Windows MovieMaker*. The default Fraps key does something in Gmod though, so you may wish to unbind it.

*I did it in VirtualDub first, but getting it to do what I wanted was massively complicated and I gave up.

Think a large gas canister with a saw blade on each side

I can do that!

Invisible objects for the win! I pinned sawblades to a boat last night and welded spades to them. Invisiblate the blades and: Bingo! A rowing boat!

What file format is that?

I can change the name, but to what? WMP doesn't seem to like it much.

Leave the .sav bit in place. I think he meant you may have to change the name to something else just incase you've already got a .sav file by that name. It's a Half Life 2 Save file. Drop it in the saved games folder in garry's mod and load it up as a game.

Windows MovieMaker is piss easy to use!

Bath of Doom! (3MB).
I love your cannon.

Having said that, I think compiling them all in to one video would be more sensible, come the end of the challenge. If, indeed, at all.

It does drive, but the ragdolls get a bit spazzy, but spazzy is fine with me, spazzy is good.
Haha! That's excellent! I especially like the string of babies.

We managed to make several cars that took off the hill at such a velocity.. You could CONSIDER it to be a plane..
