CS:S server Donations

Post by Dr. kitteny berk »

Seeing as some of the lovely people of this place have asked about making donations to the running of the CS:S gameserver, i've set this up, all donations will go directly into the server fund.

Donation is by no means compulsory, and i'll keep the server running as long as it's needed.

but still, have a shiny little paypal button

If I had a job, and didn't have feckin' $20,000 in tuition (I still have massive student loans after the basketball scholarship) I'd happily donate...

Aren't there particular constraints on those who have an athletic scholarship? I am trying to recall hearing something about kids not being able to get jobs or take money from anyone other than family. Though that's probably how it is at yuppie ville UM-Ann Arbor...

cheers.

ok, seeing as i'm not entirely pleased with Galactic encounters' severs so far.

all donation money will now be pooled into getting a jolt server (which i'm sure we all know, are fucking fast)

the GE server will run out around the 20th of april.

depending on donations, i'll make up the cash myself to pay for either a 6 or 12 month, 12 player server, unless the donations are sizeable then we can look at more players :D

don't paypal that money to me though, i'll have about a tenner left after painpal charges.

right now, i think GE are a better option than jolt for 5punk, so we'll stick with GE.
