PvP Night was a giggle

Post by friznit »

Last night's 5cheduled PvP was great fun. After gently reminding Hehulk about it, we set off with Lee and Pete to chase down a smack-talking caracal pilot in ZX. Turned out he had warp core stabs up the ying yang so we couldn't lock him down. Having tired of this crazy fool we took a turn up the Doril pipe with Pete scouting in a 'ceptor. Doril was heavily camped and so we gave that a miss and wandered back to Marginis, only to bump into Mr Caracal again.

Pete proceeded to charge heroically into the fray with his Crow and heroically out of the fray in his pod. Lee and I warped in a popped our first kill of the night.

After a break for tea and medals, Lee reported a hostile chicken ship (one of them Amarr bc's - looks like a chicken) outside Marginis and engaged in his blaster 'rax. He was going down fast but I arrived in my trusty Cara just in time to cycle a jammer or two on the hostile fowl and keep Lee in the fight. Pop goes number 2 target :boogie: (may have had some help from a friendly Raven ;) ).

Only one thing for it at this point: more tea and medals. My chest was beginning to feel heavy with metal and the hot water was running out.

More 5punkers arrived in Tycho so we formed up and took a turn up the Providence pipe towards 9UY. That system is the site of an on-going campaign between a pirate coalition and Ushra'Khan, assisted bu ISS Navy Task horse but for once the pipe was clear.

Altogether a successful and fun night was had by all (apart from perhaps Pete who needs to learn that a 'ceptor isn't a one man pwn machine  )
