Yeah, noticed absolutely no difference aside from the infantry-only. Server still crashes, which is the only thing I was bothered about. Have they fixed the hotel exploit? I hate that.

yes*

The exploit probably still exists, but you can't drop cars on buildings, so you can't perform said exploit.

The problem with infantry only is... it's just not that good on normal maps. If they made a map or two specifically designed for infantry only it could be fun, but the distance between flags on normal maps is just a tad too far.

That :above:

and given the nature of the beef maps, whichever team is defending is gonna win, given you don't have any chance of surviving small arms fire without cars etc.

I dunno, I found grenades work great at breaking up defenders, and if you can manage to flank them it all falls apart very fast. Did that several times on Jalalabad last night.

Could replace AT's rocket launcher with a mortor or some other anti-personel weapon, that would be fun.

That's a great idea. The artillery in PoE works very well and I'd imagine a mortar would be similar. EA! Are you listening?

I was wondering, has the patch made any difference to the amount of times servers crash?

yes, they crash less now, they still crash now and then, but it's once a night, rather than thrice.
