My bro's after a programmer to do a project for him. He'll pay - quite well I believe - enough to keep you playing Eve for several years anyway. Let me know if any of you whizz kids out there are interested:

I need an experienced programmer.

Project: software for social reconciliation website. most content
user-generated. looks a bit Google-like/bloggish. trickiest bit is
specialised order-matching algorithm.

State: functioning concept demo with basic algorithms and front end
appearance described in detail in power point but no flow diagrams or
technical description yet.

Technology: don't mind so long as it is scalable. .net preferred over asp.
Linux Apache (my)PHP (my)SQL combo also good. Java good. C++ good.

Talent Required: good at interpretting a non-programmer's requirements and
with reputation for writing efficient code and finishing jobs once started

Money: quoted by two companies. german company requires me to use their
proprietry software. another will have to outsource work to iranians which
puts concepts at risk. another chap called brains el bongo is proving hard
to get hold of since he sold all his worldly possessions down in Oz and went
walkabout. don't trust use rent/getacoder. colleagues at work (Fujitsu)
aren't up to it, too busy or too expensive. Bottomline, the money is good
enough for companies to take me seriously enough to quote me.
