i am downloading it because its free and looks interesting. but i have 1 thing to say so far. the download speed makes me go EWWW, 45.4 kb/s combared to my recent strange speeds of 500-1000 kb/s

I already have it. I keep my games in "last played" order, this is right at the very bottom.
It's part RTS and part FPS, and is a classic example of a wonderful idea which doesn't quite work.
It may enjoy more success in these post-BF2 days as the RTS elements are rather like being the commander - perhaps the world wasn't ready for it when it was released.
Even so, both halves are not executed that well - and as a whole the game rounds tend to snowball once one team is ahead. Troops rely on the commander for power ups and respawns - having a crap one ruins the game.
