There is a place called Costers round the corner which was superb, then the owners decided to turn the lights up so you could see who you were drinking with and take away the DJ - now it's just not the same!!
These places ~

Do you know the specs of these? and also, what size are hte monitors?
Loxy wrote: I hope that enough to keep you all going - I maintain that it would be good to have your possé there!
woooo we am a posse! WOOOOO!!!!

Also, as I'm only getting £15 from people at the moment, if we don't reach the 10, would it be possible to pay the extra £5 for people at the lan?

Yes. That would be fine. :) Bear in mind that the door price is £25, so this is a favour you need not shout from the rooftops when you get there, eh? I'll end up having to do everyone favours then and that would NOT be good!

The machines are good enough to game on but as basic - they all have 17" monitors on them. The exact spec I'm not sure about, but they are all used for gaming only, so will be sufficient.

If you really need the specs, I can find out.

The machines (from what I remember) are capable of playing source games with no probs so CS junkies etc will be fine. Not sure I saw anyone playing BF2 on one though but reckon they'd be fine.

If anyone needs to know I'll get the full spec - but hey - surely the chance to meet a mighty pirate is enough!? :P

claims of mighty piratedom may not be true

yup, unfortunatly. also, 12hrs on shift followed by mad dash to lan followed by 9hrs gaming followed by mad dash back to camp followed by 12hrs on guard seems to be a bit of a none starter :x
