Fw4ppers Ship Building Inc. is open!

Post by centerededgedesign »

Ok, so we've been building ships for awhile, but we need a place to sort who needs what, if the mins are done, and all that.

I know Lyklo is looking for a Brutix, and not long after Fear Not will need a Moa. Any other Fw4ppers nearing their Battlecruiser graduation gift to 5punkorp?

We'll also be looking at building frigs to sell to new recruits at a discount. Strictly in-corp only, we don't need the competition of uber building corps!

So post here when you need a ship, or to update the mineral hangar situation periodically! All ships BYOB please! (Bring your own Blueprint)

Ferox please, Moa is so last year :)

I am also doing a lot of hauling for the corp builds. If you want something hauling to and from a location put it in a station container named:

"Juddi -> Hulm" for example

and i'll haul them first chance I get.

If it is urgent evemail me. :)

I love the tangent factor of this corp!

Yes, we can probably dig up a blueprint for a Caracal, but just so that EVERYONE is aware, only BC's are going to be free. We'll work out a rate for being cheaper than the market, but BC's as graduation gifts are the 'free' ships, along with badger mk II's. Frigs and cruisers are built from the minerals our hard-working miner/hauler/rat suppression peeps have worked hard for the corp to provide. So I see it as fitting that some isk be returned to the corp so we can invest in the high-ends we can't mine in secure space, and perhaps skillbooks for the corp skill can.

On the topic of discount rate for members, how does 25% below market average sound?

Please let me know what you think is fair.

Normal way we've done cut price ships in the past is get together to mine all the low ends we can, then whoever wants the ship buys/acquires the neccessary high ends from the market or repro'ing loot. Usually works out at about 50 - 75% cheaper than market price.

True, but the best and brightest of 5punk don't leave for another corp! :P
Fw4ppers needs to complete it's mission of providing high-quality persons in a trained and ready to rock manner to 5punkorp, while remaining self-sufficient as much as possible. Twas just an effort to make the corp a little isk while rewarding the hard work that is done by it's members

Perhaps I'm overstepping my role of training corp leader, and I don't want to do that. Just trying to help and grow the corp and it's members is all.

No, no. I'm not casting dispersions, aspersions, space stations. Just saying what we used to do. I applaud your rigour (not mortis) in creating new initiatives.

In other news, Spearmint has gone all constructy in Hoth as of late, building ammo's and other supportive stuff like crazy. Might have even seen a Moa come out of that thing, but it was all with his own ore too! He would benefit alot from somebody with uberish skills going there to refine for him, with the base 50% refining the station can offer.

If all keeps going as it is now, it might be a corp mining event in Hoth soon to glean all it's Jaspet... :)

Yarr! I think the bpc is all you'll need mate, we're sellling some mins to 5punk, so that should cover the cost of the high-ends we'll be needing!

Congrats!

No idea off the top of my head, but enough to equip the stuff you suggested here for a cyclone, or close enough *might be one or two levels that need raising*
