UT XMP

Post by Jinxx »

Ah, I remember the days when a bunch of mad b3tans would all group together and go cause a nuisance on public XMP servers. We weren't the best players in the world, but it was some of the silliest gaming fun I've ever had.

Until UT2004 came out and the rest of the world stopped playing. Bastards.

Anyway, a lovely group of virle coders have ported the fantastic XMP over to Unreal Tournament 2004 and I think (after a quick test) it could be a bloody great yarn, and would add a little bit of variety into our gaming lives.

Anyway, if you've got UT2004, grab the public beta from http://www.free-monkey.com/main/utxmp.php and post your thoughts in this thread. Hopefully if everyone's liking what they see, then maybe a game can be arranged sometime.
