Neverwinter Nights

Post by Nickface »

How many people play it? I've been thinking of maybe starting a dedicated 5punk server for our playing enjoyment, but I want to see what the intrest is before I do. :P

I would certainly consider re-aquiring it if there was interest. I could attempt to recreate my Monty the Monk character, also known as "the Minesweeper".

Rogue mate:"Traps! I see traps!"
Monty:"raaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!"(running, explosions, sheets of lightning, plumes of gas, fireballs, dodging dodging dodging)"all gone."

Is there a demo version avaiable? I am thinking I'd like to have a crack at this one, but I can't find a cheapo version to purchase

I considered this when looking to fill the gap between Morrowind and Oblivion, but I since discovered 5punk, CS:S and Beef so my "spare" gaming time has now vanished and I never got round to it!

I discovered that someone had left a full copy lying around on the floor. I seem to remember posting the links for all the 'must have' mods, although I can't for the life of me find it. If anyone's interested I'll do it again, since I've got em all on my favourites still. I play this from time to time when I'm stuck on 'old crappy laptop' only.

Hurrah!

I still have it, it's not installed atm but all my saves are on my comp still (somewhere) and I have both expansions. Loved that game but between that, WoW, Oblivion, Diablo 2 and COD 2 I think I won't see my family or my girlfriend for a long time...

Sounds good!

I have had a poke at the demo and it won't play on my lappytop, which is a shame. but it is an old machine with a poor graphics card in it.
once it's been trialled on the desktop, I'll probably abandon it in favour of Guildwars, factions and prophicies and of course, the occasional evening of UT04 mayhem

I have the full game and the "Shadows of Undrentide" expansion. I'd probably play.
