After installing BF2 and it failing to work last night, being the annoyed person i get I played WoW and failed to kill Instructer Razuvious in NaXX. Bah But unwilling to wipe all night again, uninstalled and re-installed BF2, sure enough when you install it without a million programs running and restart when the installer tells you.. it WORKS

So i'm in training tonight in order to hopefully make a mockery of P-nut the first time i play on one of your servers hehe.

Looks like he got it working, just in time for the new patch ><
