POST IT!!!!
I think you misunderstand. The porn is not the desktop, it has been downloaded *to* the desktop. I can post it if you like, but i dont think you'll get off on a load of icons with worrying names.
Unless you knew that, and have some weird icon fetish

That's just the quick launch stuff from the start bar. I like having it up there and to the left as opposed to crowding the bar at the bottom.
I just double mine up. I also hate, and absolutely LOATH most of XP's "UI Improvements." If you will notice, I made my laptop look about as Win2000-ish as I could.

I kinda like the "Fischer-Price" look of it all.

It took a bit of getting used to, but i rather like it now. Preferable to anything that reminds of Windows 98, anyway.

My Desktop
Ignore the txt files, I use notepad all the time for random things and I normally have one or two on my desktop at anyone time.
She's not my favourite girl... but that has to be one of my favourite pictures of a female
ever
Oh and I wanted to show off my fancy skins so I included both winamp and mediaplayer

I guess I'll never understand why people use non-rectangular skins...

Because it's HL2
and because who actually leaves them up on their desktop for any length of time? I use it for watching the odd movie that winamp/divx/realplayer/quicktime doesn't like.
I normally use winamp for most things and find that when its up the top and translucent that it doesn't affect anything except fullscreen games and I'd normally turn off or at least minimise any other app other than the game itself. Still don't use x-fire that much.

somehow, i've always been capable of not skinning things, living perfectly happily with the stock, bog basic stuff, and not wasting space.
winamp and suchlike just sit in the tray and work. reasonably controllable using a few shortcuts mostly.

that girl looks like she has been created, rather than born.
