Fuck me, that looks a bit special. I'm going to have to get EP2, regardless of the fact I haven't got the first one yet!

Portal...a first-person game concept that will ship independently on PC and as part of a package on Xbox 360 and PS3 next year.
:above: This, and a lot of stuff about Valve being mates with EA now means likely Portal and/or TF2 might be available at the same time as Ep 2, but they will likely not be part of a package and sure as shit won't be free.

Since when has there been the linkup with EA? And how can this be at all good for anyone but EA?

EA publish Valve's stuff for the consoles- they did HL1 and HL2, I believe. As far as I know, Portal and TF2 are still part of the EP2 console package- they're definately still part of the EP2 package on PC.

EA are also distributing the PC versions of HL2: Goatee Edition and CSS later this year.

I'd rathertrust the word of Valve itself and not those fuck-ups at IGN.

IGN doesn't know WTF.
