Looks like this round ends early September. And the next round is Beta Test for next episode.Date: 10/7/2006 at 17:06
Before any rumours start, i have not announced a start date yet. As it stands i think in 5 - 7 weeks (maybe more) the testing game will start, not 4 - 5! You just took 2 weeks off of me!
This might help more, the way i see things panning out are as follows:
This Episode lasts around another 5 - 7 weeks.
This Episode ends and a testing game starts that will last 2 - 3 months.
The testing game ends and a fully working Episode IV Starts.
The testing game is an early version of Episode IV, look at it as version 0.1, when Episode IV starts it will be Version 1.0. So for 2 - 3 months Atorian will become a beta game, going back to basics and rebuilding a new and improved Atorian.
Well done lads! As said, It was a complete tactial success however we didnt seem to be able to grab any planets.
The next op will be a little diffrent. We will be doing a attack waves. Instead of a massed attack. This will be a little experiment to see how well it would work. Op. time around 18:00 Server time torrmow(25th June). Stayed tuned ladies and gents!
Oh and feel free to send off skirmishing fleets till then!

I am a Moderator on the game, and i saw this site and it looks pretty good
Just to clear up a few thingies people have said.

This is only at the start of the round, sorry guys, i will ask David to put iti in for newbies next round :-)
9 Ships.. This must be a distraction.
No its an attack ¬,¬ Heh. Basically, they make really cheap and light (Therefore fast) fighters, 6 that target destryoers, striker and fighters, and 3 that only target destroyers. those 6 that target all 3 targets, hit your fighters and do more damage as you ships cost more, then your ships shoot at theirs, but you only have one design, The Sub-Space Fighter, so they only kill one enemie design out of the three that didnt fire and therefore didnt get killed by return fire. They have 2 ships left, and they dide more damage. To combat this, make 9 foozle deisngs. Foozles = 1 laser, 1 Single Layered Titanium and o.4 Engine.
I signed up and stuck Shot2bits' password in and it stuck me in a system with one other random in it
This is caused when you dont put in the whole password. If you are missing a letter the Server doesnt know what the crap your on about so sticks you in a corner ¬,¬
looks like i did more damage/value but says i lost
A few reasons for this.
1). You lost all your ships in the battle and there were none left at the end so and automatic win for them
2). The battle Engine screwed up and spewed out the wrong resultsm this is happening increasinly often, often a tell-tale sign you be minus AL: and/or DL: or a Double set of stats at the bottom. These problems will not be fixed but a new battleninge will be implemented into the new Round :-)
