Good thinking Batman, I'll install a Wiki later on today, as it makes sense to host it in the same place.

I know, I had to come home first, I wasn't able to configure a wiki page whilst driving home from work :P

All done http://www.5punk.co.uk/wiki

I'll copy most of Berk's annd add/amend where I see fit.
The main page won't be updatable by anyone but an admin, but there will be sections that's a free for all such as Eve and so on...

Now all I have to do is work out this Wiki stuff

Thanks for the help Berk, you've done a lot of the legwork for me already :likesitall:

For now I've pretty much copied and pasted Berk's Wiki into the 5punk one.

I'm going to amend it a bit adding/removing bits, but I'd like to thank you for doing this Berk, as I had absolutely no idea how to even write a wiki, and using your template has made it easy for me.

I do find the whole wiki thing quite confusing, and even though you ahve linkd to the cookbook stuff, how on earth do you find it from the main page?

Can you all please make some suggestions for content on 5punk.co.uk/wiki main page, and I'll leave the rest up to you lot if you want to create anything.

search for cookbook, or link to it using the wiki link tags

Code: Select all

[[Cookbook]]
(dunno how to link to categories yet, gimmie a while to work that out)

The wiki stuff is pretty easy, which is sorta the point.

Also may i suggest copying the frontpage to wiki/5punk so we can edit without having to hassle you, then you can take or leave whatver you want?

Mission random pointless content GO!
zOMG!!! I caused "This site is experiencing technical difficulties."

BTW: If you want to create new content search for it and if it's not found you get the option to create a page on it. May not be the correct way of going about it but it's the only way I know and thought it might be useful for other n00bs like me.

That :above:

Or if you're doing a lot of stuff (i generally create a handful of pages at a time)

You can just copy

Code: Select all

http://www.5punk.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Page_title&action=edit
with the name you want using underscores for spaces.

Also use

Code: Select all

[[Category:Recipes|!!Recipes]]
to link to categorys for now, dunno how better to do it.

Gunslinger

Created by robo using old toaster parts, flips out if he sees a bagel.

So horribly, horribly good at all games.

0.001% of his neural processing runs all NASA orbital navigation and communication systems and he is a technical consultant on Richard and Judy

Who added this?

Also, it should be changed to "all games except UT2k4" as I'm quite bad at that.
