Right, I've been wandering around for a couple days now and I'm fucking bored.

So far I've been killed by a large stag, a boar, a tiger, a shark, a monkey and even a fucking parrot.

Where is everything? I had hopes this would be like a piratey Urban Dead, but there's just nothing to do.

I have to admit, I'm finding it hard to get XP. I've done some stuff - foraging, selling mangoes, hitting animals, hitting people, dying. Now I've got some poisonous berries so I'm going to eat them. Once I've got the XP I'll create a 5punk clan (unless someone beats me to it) and maybe we can get together and do something. Like make a big CDC. Or something.

I'm already at Level 2, and not far off being a level 3.

I think you might of all made bad choices in your class, as Pirate's are the most popular, but one of the hardest to build XP.

I'm a native warrior, and I have met a lot of friendly people who have answered all my questions, and helped keep me alive whilst banshees scream from outside all the time giving me teh fear!

In order to really build XP, you need to do a lot of searching, and trading in special trade buildings.

Perhaps all of you should think about creating a Native Warrior character, and we can all meet up and help each other out?
I am in Dalpok, and I have mostly been XP building my staying in a medical hut, and healing others.
Giving someone a coin as a thankyou goes a very long way, and they are likely to look after you whilst you are offline.

judging by all the posts in this thread I confidently say that this game is probably shit. The only web mmo I have been bothered to play for more than an hour has bee Kingdom of Loathing, because you can play for ten minutes and be done for the day. This just seems like a complete, and uninteresting waste of time.

Ive killed a parott and a deer. I got another parott down to 1hp then ran out of AP

. I got 47 EXP!
I found a loaded rifle but cant use the damn thing!

Also, this is worth knowing http://wiki.shartak.com/index.php/Character_classes to understand the differences between classes.

In order to use the rifle, you need "outsider knowledge", as natives wouldn't understand how to use the gun

I spent the evening stabbing cashtart with my scimitar until it broke, and now have 101xp. I also am unable to see the "Clan Leadership" skill, perhaps it's 150xp or more?

Managed to get an elephant down to 4HP, then ran out of AP's.
Logged back on later and a bastard pirate stole my kill, then attacked me.
I shot a few poison arrows in his ass, and he dropped down DTF!

Now I can use guns and shit, as well as my native blowpipe, so I think I might build my AP's, then go on a little adventure round the island.

I'm 2XP off my next skill. I've been poisoning and healing myself in the jungle for a while (4xp a shot people), where I was shouted at by Pianoman. First 5punk encounter for me

EDIT: Bah. Logged on and picked a couple more berries for that last couple of XP and it turns out I need 125 for my next skill.

Right, Some one needs to make a guide for this. I mean I have 4 machetes 1 blunt one 2 rifles fully loaded 1 partialy loaded and well I have SHIT loads of stuff + a gold coin but bugger if I know what to do with it all...
