Hello gays!

Post by stevierar »

I bought HL2, and CS:Source the day before yesterday. Yesterday I finally played it. Yay! I used to be quite good at CS, I even /ran/ the PC FOrmat magazine clan :O But then I got distracted by pubs and love, but now I am single and all my friends are at work rather than at uni like me - so it seems right to pick up my AK47 again.. :D

I am stevierar on /talk, I'm not too sure how many of you are boarders, talkers, 4rthurians, and so on - but hello ^_^ if you've posted on b3ta in the last four years I'll probably squeal at you!

ALAS! I HAVE A QUESTION! Where do all the brits play CS:Source?! There used to be Jolt which was ace for CS, but their (two working?) servers are eternally empty. I have found a few servers, but whilst I love dirty foreigns, I have much trouble understanding the things they say. And I panic when they say "STEVIERAR ALKAI EEE LALAL POOPSHOOT!" as I don't know what they mean :( and I have to say "ENGLISH :(" and oh no :(

So yes! I would come and play tonight - do you get quite a good turn out - but by some mircale I am going down Shell Bay (I live /in/ Dark City, yes) to play in a rounders match with friends! I'm not sure how we moved from Frisbee to rounders /with medals/ but there you go.

But hello yes! I shall undoubtably see you all on the servers (I am the one drawing faces on the walls with BULLETS), and might even buy a few of the other games you play!

Love from Stevierar

*frantically looks for reply link*

I think I've set up xFire okay - although only two people on it so far! I ran the downloadymagictool

And haha, yay for you playing on our server :D That was awesomely provided by Future (PUblishing)!

Wow, X-Fire makes my computer angry ><! I'm somehow playing at the proper res for this tft (1280x1024) on the puniest system ever. I HAVE NEARLY THIRTY FRAMES EVERY SECOND! ^_^

Ooh - another question - can you still get comm-scrips and stuff? So I can press a key and Affirmative, and Enemy Spot and so on. I used to have it, and keep trying to press the same keys ><

Don't forget to turn HDR off, it can be a bitch when fielding and trying to catch someone out.

Speed and aim HAX can also help as long as you don't get spotted by an Umpire

Hello!

If you don't fancy killing a kitten, bum a badger instead (sorry, all horses have been reserved).

Try not to be put off by the awesome terror of our CS:S skills

I'm not sure if that's on The Almighty List or not. I probably should be, anyway. *notes*
