On Wednesday June 21, ISS will conduct its first alliance wide anti-pirate operation, launching from ISS Marginis.
I'd like all corporations to participate. Send PM's or eve-mails to Mynas Atoch from ISSN, who will coordinate the fleet.
Details will be provided to the CEO's and Fleet Commanders.
The operation will span all timezones. US and Euro groups will be given seperate assembly times.

So, 5punky deployment plan. Tuesday is always a bad day for us as far as numbers go because of COD and I expect doubly so this week because of the england match so it'll have to be wednesday. I'd like every available person in W9- at 6:30 gmt+1 to begin a patrol at 7pm. Please post availability here.Mynas wrote:There will come a day when ISS is seriously challenged by one of the 'B' class powers in EVE. What will we do when that day comes?
Go quietly into the night on the first day and hand over the keys to the stations? As our haulers and freighters scuttle up the pipes or to neighbouring stations in a last minute orgy of reprocessing and escrowing. With individual corps desperately haggling with former friends, now voracious neighbours sensing a fire-sale, and looking to take over the POS networks and cream off the best corps.
Or mobilize our entire resources as the fifth largest alliance in EVE with over 1700 pilots and more corporations (85) than any two others put together. And use our experience and dedication and vision to fight to the last gate camp, to the last POS, to the last ship .. and then jump into a replacement and fight again .. and again .. and again.
While one of the best diplomatic teams in any MMONG uses the time we buy for them to do what they do; charm allies and confound enemies and bring the support we need to win the day.
---
To win we need infrastructure and practice and effort. On Wednesday 21st June we will test our existing infrastructure, practice mobilization and with a concerted effort from every pilot who can log on, attempt to shut down every pirate gate camp from ISS Borealis to LV Calico
3 main fleets
Northern Fleet : All Pure Blind corporations will be responsible for securing the route from ISS Borealis to Torrinos, and camping EC-P8R for at least one hour from each deployment.
Southern Fleet :All Tenerifis and Catch based pilots will secure the route from LV Calico to HED-GP and be responsible for gate camping one of the systems on this route between 36N-HZ and HED-GP for at least one hour during each deployment.
Central Fleet : All Providence pilots, reinforced with ISSN will secure the routes from HED-GP to Esa and be responsible for a gate camp between 9UY4-H and Y-MPWL for at least one hour from each deployment.
- ALL Empire based pilots will deploy to Torrinos or Agil or Esa, liaise with the main 0.0 fleets and join them in their gate camps.
- Every pilot who logs on in every corporation in ISS turned out in a combat ship (if it has to be an Ibis with a civilian gatling, so be it), with replacements available.
- Every pilot in every corporation on a voice server with ISS Management and ISS Navy Task horse able to connect to it to liaise.
- Every capital ship pilot who logs on to be deployed at least one jump with support at the destination system.
Deployments will commence at 01:00 hrs ET pm on Tuesday/Wednesday the 20th/21st June and continue at 3 hour intervals for the following 24 hours. We would like everyone to make at least one of these. And for everyone to get on a voice server.
We will be looking for reports on the orders of battle deployed ... and stuff .. like who are the leaders .. whose voice servers were shared ... which capital pilots could be deployed quickly etc We want to know what went wrong, what went right, and what can be fixed before we need to do it for real.
You have less than 36 hours to get your ships and pilots and resources in the right place for the first deployment. And to organize the out of game resources you will need to coordinate them.
As far as the rest of EVE is concerned, this is Anti-Pirate day. In reality, its Exercise : Emergency Mobilization.

<strike>I also assumed that et = eve time but actually it can't. To post an EVE wide call to arms using confusing nomenclature (which I took to be 24H clock until someone pointed out the "pm") on a regional timescale not matching the game. Well, that's just <s>so american</s> daft.
All depends if the extended DT finishes on time aswell (sceduled to end at 1700 EVE afaik) which is about as likely as something not very likely, frankly.
/rant off</strike>
correction. Mynas clarifies that it was 24H clock and EVE time, the whole pm thing I guess was a hoax or something
So;
I will likely not be on tonight, but will attempt to join the 0700 EVE and 1000 EVE deployments tomorrow morning. I'll sort ships this morning.
So all day to sort ships (minus extended DT
) then all day gate camping tomorrow. Sounds fun and I may have a pass from Bubble to play on a little late on Wednesday...
Should be fun. So long as we all turn up at the same time...
hmmm <strike>:P</strike> works on the preview.... not in the post though

<strike>so, if I understand this correctly, deployments start at 1900 EVE tonight and will occur every three hours from then on.</strike>Mynas off the ISS forums wrote:Gustak Siskowet wrote:

This is a bit ambiguous. ET=Eve Time or Eastern Time? Tuesday or Wednesday? Please clarify the start time, in 24:00 hours, eve-time format.
Looking forward to this, RL permitting.
Mynas replies---->
Eve Time : one deployment leaving every three hours, with at least one hour of gate camping during each deployment.
0100 Wednesday,
0400 Wednesday,
0700 Wednesday,
1000 Wednesday,
1300 Wednesday,
1600 Wednesday,
1900 Wednesday,
2200 Wednesday
Whether to try to make these continuous, is at the discretion of the fleet commander(s) on the spot, but at the end of each deployment, those leaving or joining must move in one or more groups in battle order. We want no easy ganks of solo players travelling to and from the gate camp.
