5punk Search Plugin for Firefox

Post by Woo Elephant Yeah »

Download the following zip file

http://www.5punk.co.uk/5punk.zip

and extract the 2 files into C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins

Restart Firefox, and then please let me know if you have any issues using this.

It works fine! Nicely done Mr WEY.

CAEK returned 26 results. Will probably be 27 now though!

I use it a suprising amount actually. Got Google, google scholar, BBC News, wikipedia, wiktionary, urban dictionary, uncyclopedia and IMDB installed. Also have a neat little plugin which lets you right-click on a search and delete it from the list.

I have this too, and it's ace.

I just need to work out how to add this so it can install itself by clicking on a hyperlink, as opposed to manually downloading it and dropping it into the directory.

Found out how to do it, but I'm still :?

WooT!!! But more work needs to be done... Search found only 474 matches of the word "fuck"... starting to slack boys, it's the most common sweary word in the English language.

*EDIT/ Though it does seem to be the most popular word on the board apart from 5punk itself which got 1222 counts.

Wow, cool. Did you do this yourself, or find it somewhere?

I hope you don't mind, I'm going to totally rip this off and use it on Lanarchy.co.uk ;)

You can now add the 5punk Search Plugin by simply clicking on the link within the search page, instead of having to manually install it.

Let me know if this works, or if anyone has issues installing it 8)
